asphalt yard

Yummy old "Nathan's" hot dogs
Just the dogs and buns
Good dogs snap when you bite them
So dip in water
Before you shove down
Vomit, you

Oh! am with in me
being lies in being free
am talking to me?
dot's full stop
full stop keeps dot stop

of your being
and the shapes of leaves
in a clearing
and realize
that life
and looking up
at taller beings
and trees
is worth
the stillness
of being.

one seed, so wise
to hide generations of pumpkins

wisdom in tendrils, leaves

A bug-eyed and smarmy young rat,
