Non-Consensual

she keeps her shame

and ravished body concealed...

beasts tell lies

Paul, you have shined your beautiful poetic light very powerfully yet sensitively on an important issue. Your kind heart and intelligent mind allows you to bring attention to a delicate victims' issue with empathy and class. Your heart is as golden as your pen my friend. Warmest regards always.. ~Susan

I feel very strongly on this issue, Susan; non-consensual sex & rape are condemnable. My heart goes out to the innocent victims. Thank you for the kind comments; I am sure many others are with me on this topic. ~ Warm regards // paul

ok, NOW I find one new for me!! It's a sad thing that this kind of thing comes to light less often than it should. IS this for a challenge at Soup?

It is a sad situation, Andrea, but at least victims appear to have found renewed courage of late. Not for a challenge... Regards // paul

So they do. I was only watching a program last week, in a court where the young victim was grilled and hassled so much that its no wonder then that victims are reluctant to come forward to name their abusers.A powerful Senryu Paul. Good on you writing on a delicate subject where only the brave dare to tread....Maria

Thank you for your feedback, Maria. As you say, many victims prefer to keep mum; the fear of not being believed and ridiculed is a deterrent. Regards....paul
