Pablo Neruda

I thought I was a poet
Until I read
What you wrote
But now I know
That I am just a shadow
Of a reflection
In a mirror

Pablo Neruda

Words found him
While the wind was playing
While the rain was crying
While the sea was singing
And the light was coming
Out of the Chilean sky
Opening his infinite eyes
And poems arrived

A consecutive (see Aug 27)'Neruda' poetic (rather proving plus ca change.plus la meme chose) so clearly selected by some automatic process..so a similar comment! ...a short poem put into words as a 'love letter' today but.. still in shapeless irregular lines .
Form: Prose

As Neruda Once Said

Lovers mix feelings
between kisses, beds
and bread ...
your presence
in front of me
 would be enough
to be blessed
forever.
If i could only be the sailor.
of your love... if i were
one of those who arrive
kiss and depart.
That would be enough for me ...!

Take me. . . Float me. . . to your Macchu Picchu. Swirl me with your images surreal. Show me nights, like those where stars shine blue and she is not with you. . . so I might feel that beauty born “between the hill and river” and the loneliness your saddest poems reveal.

A stroll on the high rise of men’s wall
The heart steadily depicts the mind’s fall
  Built of mind to suppress
  Within__ wickedness nests
One soul contemplates the mind’s gall

In honor of Pablo Neruda(Poet, diplomat, and politician)

Words of Love

Were I Frost, or Neruda ,
ambitious words to love define
would drench my page.
But the haze that veils
as a shutting door, a wordless voice,
leaves Love's pleasure, and Love's pain
without me to explain.
Yet be assured of this,
had I them they would be yours
expressed cheek to cheek
and dear to dear.

A Breath of Ecstacy

You never could
tame my spirit
you ravished my mind
trailing lips of Neruda
peeling my clothes off
your teeth slowly
found your way
and gripped the edge
of nirvana

slide my passion
to the floor
feel the air pulse
with fevered fingers

and as your
inhibitions release
onto a plateau of being,

take one breath to Ecstasy

Pablo

Neftali the Great
Engaged in many careers
Ready to write for "La Manana"
Until he was forced to go into hiding
Day after day, being protected by suppourters and fans. Then
At last, he was able to leave, but in exile.......

Break

	You’re not wrong about love
You almost broke my parents apart
My mom read your words and decided to leave some in return

Were sorrowful words erotic in nature
It ensued pain in her heart
If only your words laid serene on the page and in her ears

Las Chilenas, have opposed your lines Neruda
Dimension shifts in your favor when you decide to not abandon those you
        love

Whitman Escapes Me

i wish i could write a poem utilizing symbolism

it escapes me

it escapes me amidst the din

it escapes me amidst the clamor

it escapes me against racing bipolar mind

racing thoughts of self esteem

of crushing sense of sensibility

of world feeling crushed

i wish i could write all these things

i wish i could write like lorca

lorca escapes me

whitman escapes me

neruda escapes me

all i have left is me.

The Poets

Buson had his comb
and Pound, his blackened bough.
But I am no poet.

I do not rage. Rage
is not for me.
Inspiration does
not peer through my ribs.

I cannot talk of Michelangelo
Or tell of Grecian Urns. No,
Ozymandias has not looked upon
My works.

What I write will not
Stand up with the greats
Sadly, I am no
Neruda, Poe, or Yeats.

I just spend my time
Reading The Rime
And failing to create.

Empathy In Darkness

We thought we have two lives,
Al least one real, today none is real.
Apocalypses in the Bible, it was a human episode.
But now a different disaster.
In my mind, only digits I can see,
No birds, no roses, no trees, no fathers, no mothers.
Towns that are not towns.
Urgently, I need to skype Mayans and
Neruda: Is so happens, I am sick to be a man.
The center is an absence, of a point, of infinity.
We need presence.

Premium Member Youth - After Pablo Neruda

A fragrance, the tangy dagger of plums down a road, sugary kisses on teeth, juices of life, seeping through fingers, in sweet ripening flesh, of meadows, haystacks, the hungry hiding places in vast houses, of long forgotten mattresses, wild green valley glanced from aloft, through a secret window: all of adolescence burns and drowns, like a lamp dying down in rain. *** February 21, 2017

Premium Member The Tree

The tree is here, still, in pure stone,

as cold as the night that has found me alone

No glory to crown, no branch to bend down

No cradles for sparrows to shelter their young

Not even one leaf to drift in the wind---

Mourning the death, hear the nightingale's song
