Namaste
Namaste.

Your love shows
In your words.

Namaste.

Differences shouldn’t
Be walls, but bridges.

Namaste.

Jazzy, brash—and yet beneath
The layers I find something.

Namaste....

Teaching what I learnt
From heroes and
heroines-
The known and
unknown
I owe each each of you
hugs
Which I know are not
worthless.

Premium Member What To Say In India
If you are ever lucky enough to go to India one day, to show them you are friendly, this is what to say: All you do is address them with "namaste". To thank them and tell them you are glad, just respond with the word "danyavaad".

Here is the yeast of thought that like the dough,
though it become suppressed, is rising still
within two souls whose vision is just one,
then beaten once again becomes the bread,
the mounting God,
the sinews shared,
the death of self,
the breath of life.

Would like to know if a less public way still exists to contact some of my old friends here. If it's obvious, please forgive me. I promise I looked before I sent out this plea.

Where ya been, baby?
Busy with business
Drama and trauma

and where have you been?

Creepin' through flesh
and spirit
and flesh

both of us wonder....

I got questions,
you got excuses.
I'm tired of being
The benefactress of this.

"Namaste" is a conventional Hindu expression
upon meeting or parting a person or persons
used generally by the speaker usually while holding
the palms together vertically in front of the bosom.
This expression I would have never known
if not for the comments left by Nancy Jones....

Something about having
you inside
me feels like outside is
warmer than
inside even when
maybe it's not but
it could be and that
doesn't matter because
matter is about how
happy we are inside and
outside.

If you travel to Mumbai or New Delhi, there is one thing to show them you are friendly. If you are planning to stay there a month or a few days, familiarize yourself with the all-important phrase. When you greet the natives, all you have to say is the simple and pleasant word “namaste”.

Dang, you're gone.
You're really gone?
Andrea says so and she's no liar.

All your effusive
romantic
over-the-topness.
Frantic, fearless, forever flighty,
fabulous, ferocious for-realness.

Gone.

Waiting for the rest of us.
Sure to have flowers and rivers,
cliffs, sunsets and descriptions we'd never have thought of
on our own.

Until we meet again.

“May the Force be with you” (Obi Wan Kenobi)
“Nanu nanu” (Mork)
And now (February 27, 2015 - Leonard Nimoy)
“Live long and Prosper” (Spock)

All this makes me wonder how Peter greets folks at the Gate
“Greetings” (Uncle Sam)
“Aah what’s up Doc?” (Bugs Bunny)
Or “Namaste” (ancient Sanskrit greeting)

And Hopefully Not: "I've got a bad feeling about this" (Han Solo)...

The Walking Skeleton
From the restaurant doors
Sweet aromas creep;
Food some can afford,
Others only in sleep.

Both starving, we rush-
'This place looks a delight!'-
But hungry fingers clutch
My flesh, plump and white.

'Namaste!' he says
And wiggles his head,
As I shiver in the face
Of the living dead.

Sharp breath- I turn
Towards the light,
And leave him to creep
Back into night

And let tastes so sweet
Overpower my sight....

Premium Member Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is
I like four o'clock in the morning
'cause I don't have to deal with peops scorning.
I like seven-thirty, too,
Cause that's when I getta do what I want to.

The afternoon's challenging
I'm crankier then, but often things
Spark me so much that I stay
engaged.

Honestly, I can say
that my favorite time of day
is when I hear a namaste
sincerely.

A Brief Glance At the Zohar
The masterwork of Cabbala is the Zohar
I took a glance at it today
in the mystical bookstore near me - Namaste
What I read about was the importance of the Sabbath
I usually attend services Friday night at the Reform temple near me
The presence of God can be found
if you open your heart to it
The scoffers non withstanding
the Sabbath brings peace and healing
and is something to look forward to
after the week's toil...
