Slimming Down
I strive for simple life and simpler deeds,
Cut down on needs,
And minimize the multiples of me,
And wriggle free
Of whirligig complexity....

Union That Ache
Life is the fragile substance
the only that can
disappear in a breath
and make a bluster
in the silence
mangling multiples
hearts
Married by the same pain....

Dandelion Weed Such a Pretty Flower-
dandelion weed
non fragrant scaly weed spreads
near the multiply

blown within the wind
near the multiples
green as grass but not as full

Bipolar Learning Curves
As for this singular problem.
Whom is it to whom, within hands reach.
Am I awake, I do dream?
Thinking in multiples.
The level of a very complex being.
Which if I must, I beg you to think.
Is it not possible to solve them?
Differences,
the same levels, whom made them?...

Ugly Love
In a certain light
No
It makes no difference
We are so ugly
That I can’t get it up
But
When passion flows
Ugliness goes away
From substance abuse
We do it all night
Get sores, bruises,
Sweat profusely
We explode
In multiples
Orgasmic, and
Afterwards
Ugliness returns
And we are happy....

Propaganda
Propaganda is used to manipulate people
and it's at its very best and most successful,
when all of the many masses of gullible people
are convinced that they are acting upon their own free will.
*
I'm somewhat paraphrasing Joseph Goebbels.
Even evil has knowledge that needs to be told,
because propaganda in America
is running rampant in the multiples....

Waiting
we wait today
heads bowed
for news of you
good or bad
we shift from foot to foot and say
I knew this would come,
would happen one day
we clasp our hands
we cast our eyes
to us, this is certainly no surprise
we're late
we're early
we'll never know
the heat overcomes us
inside we are frozen
throats choked up
hearts thundering
speaking in whispers
anxiety
multiples...

Blank Page
Why Kant I see?
In my mind i see everything
but before me
nothing
Here lies a blank page.
Multiples
hundreds
but all i see is this page
Opportunities lost
I see what I want
My eyes are lost
Blasted blank page
creativity at the brink
thy will not think
try not to blink
Where did It go?
Blank Page
Mocks Me
Lines and Emptiness
Beg me to fill it
Lost and Confused
...
Where did I go?...

Sowing and Reaping
Sowing-and-reaping’s rule is pure,
Whatever you give you’ll procure,
When you sow evil, it comes back in folds to you,
And if it’s good, you’ll have it in multiples too,
Each time you give a soul hope,
It appears when you’re on the ropes,
And when you pull a folk down,
You’ll meet defeat on your way uptown,
What you give out is coming; it’s heaping,
That is the law of “sowing and reaping”....

that's unseen and so then given...

Day of Three Showers
The first - a vain attempt to cleanse the soul.
The second - a customary rinse of sweat from a run.
The third - necessary defense against the itchy consequences of visiting a barber.
It's not that a shower is particularly special ... but so rare is the day that I'd take three.
Multiples of the mundane -
Suddenly charged with significance.
Might the days in my ordinary life
add to such a revelation sometime?
12 November 2022 (1 day prior was the subject of this poem, however)...
