My Best Blessing

My best blessing is
Waking up in the morning and
My heavenly Father giving
Me another chance at life
Me being able to move around
Think, talk, laugh, even cry
Good health and peace of mind
These, are the greatest blessings

Cedar Wood

I wish I were soft and cushy
So you wouldn’t have to move around on me so much
Maybe if you gave me a cushion
-but I like my natural color
So do you I think…
I’m sorry I make your butt hurt
But that’s what you get for stepping on me

Perspective Shift

one moment
can change
your perspective
point of view
vantage point
this change can
be very important
it can cause the puzzle
pieces of life
to rearrange
move around
to create a new
picture of the future
that was never there
before this shift in
view

Pimped

Somebody pimped my "crib"',
Now they done broke my rib,
I "axed" you to be nice,
Butt all's you got is brain mice,
I'm a gonna shut this town on down,
And move around like no one's clown,
I'm in my "hood",
And it is berry good,
So don't mess with me,
Or my "homies" you'll see.

Insights

It was less savory.
The tibia breaks and you
enter into unbuttoned dress.

        *

The deviance was abusive.
I cannot accept the celebration
of skin, unwrapping small Buddhas.

        *

When the fear recedes, I will
move around the words?
to seek the meaning.

Premium Member The Comedown

You sit at the top then turn upside down,
a carnival of unwanted feelings;
So difficult to handle the comedown
stillness is torture so you move around;
On this ride it’s hard to get your bearings;
Memories follow you from town to town,
water guns and balloons winning prizes;
This constant fresh start just tantalizes.

Party

Alone in a crowded room
Encased in a bubble
They move around me
Like water, past a stone.

An overlap of traits
Each pleasant in isolation
Compounded and compressed
Into dark stillness

Practiced movements
A very convincing smile
An anecdote of sport
Try not to drink too much

The merry ritual
For everyone but me

Merize

Take me pices by pices break me down like the beats give
me a new sound I can move my feet to babe I'm all for it
show this hips your willing I need you to show me some new
moves because I'm all for it theres perfection in your
smooth moves take me there I'm all eyes and ears cause I
love the way you move around in your boots
