Gone With the Wind

Many proud mountains
Worn to insignificance--
Just gone with the wind

It was last year Mark - sadly Darren became ill when we started to judge the contest last year... I have put off with the hope he would be back but had to judge it on my own as our PM was expiring and as we haven't written together in 9 months it was not worth renewing until he is back with us once more:-) Hugs jan

This is a surprise. I don't remembering entering this in anything. Thanks for commenting Jan.

Thankyou. I figured commenting about the book or the movie would be overkilled, so I went for the second thing that came to mind--erosion.

I thought first of writing about canyons, though they are more often eroded by water. Spent summer vacations in a small town in southern Utah, near Zion's National Park, Bryce Canyon, and Cedar Breaks. The last two have a lot of wind-sculpted features. Glad you liked this.
