On Military Parachuting
In the light of your mortality,
The trials and tribulations of everyday life,
Diminish considerably.
Green, gold, gray, old, from thence they pass away.
And from the dawn, the night is cast,
What's due to mortals falls at last.
Silent Stones
Granite and Marble
Testement to our Mortality
Sun gazes brightly, blinded by sonder
Upon memorials to our fatality
Man is trapped into necessity's inescapable web of time-mortality his lot!

Even when measured by
Standards of eternity,
Embraced with mortality,
And beset by brevity,
Life is no less a
Treasured gift.
Memo addressed

re: man’s vulnerability --
his vexing mortality
~ CC to you and me ~
Dealing with one’s mortality
Reveals a stark reality
As you age
You set the stage
For you own finality

We spend our time on wasted days
And cheaply sell our souls for ways
To cheat the forms of our decline
And stretch the skein of borrowed time
In as much as it’s defensible,
Like a boot stamp on the innocent,
The uncompromising all,
Pernicious awareness of mortality.

Man takes time to concieve his mortality and much longer to accept it, if he ever does!

All there cast in Stone
Pompeii a gift to all
they laying down as if sleeping
Vesuvius aggrieved and granting
to some a later undeserved mortality
One's fear of death is proportional to the degree one refuses to accept his own mortality!

Little angel,
you have got your wings to fly,
fly far away beyond the sky,
where your spirit may soar high,
into the light beyond human bondage.
in the beginning
blood flows down the stream of life
to discovery-
character lines, a road map-
portrait of mortality
All there cast in Stone
Pompeii a gift to all
they laying down as if sleeping
Vesuvius aggrieved and granting
to some a later undeserved mortality
Artists dabble in shades and hues
Authors express their sundry views
Troubled souls take to darkling woods
The baker smiles ~ 'twas sweet and good
Hangman, hangman,
That man is being hung
Stop the atrocity.
Let us hang him,
Since we are all guilty
Unless you're sinless
Accessed in a mortality?
Oh once again
I stood alone-
In retrospect,
a moment forgotten,
a sleepless night.
In prospect ,
mortality or imortality..
I whispered a prayer
to my soul.
Mortality
this vessel that
surrounds me
funny
I should grow to love it
just in time
to witness its decay
better late than never
I'm sure the sage would say.
Number 44
MORTALITY
Flesh grows from flesh
As you and I see
Now in silly dash
Death comes most surely

Woke up from a dream that
had no memory,
no meaning
and no understanding;
no metaphor,
no chance of ever surviving in reality-
like mortality,
-no chance-

I am at ease with my mortaliti.
I house no Thanatophobia
No fear overflows the dam.
Though Death I do shun
My theatre question to Life remains so
When do we part?
