Notes About The Poem

MORTALITY

FROM MY ROOFTOP GARDEN, 19 NOVEMBER 2016, MY PICTURE, (c)

Mortality

Man takes time to concieve his mortality and much longer to accept it, if he ever does!

My dear poet...your thoughts always give one the opportunity to think of more important concepts in life. Hugs :)

Well done, Demetrios. What changes accompany the journey/process you describe? In our youth, we are almost all immortal, frequently impatient with our elders, and full of scorn for their thoughts along the way. Now, I love to contemplate of what you speak, to write of it, to discuss it with others. I have become the person that I used to find so boring. ; )
