Now, there's a thought! We never really stop to ponder our mortality until we face it and then...well, each of us has their own moments. Well penned.

Just thinking of death is appalling to me.. and I always avoid writing about it though I have written some poems from real experience.. That's true, the more we deny the idea of death the more we are fearful! And I think that valiant people are the ones who can embrace the idea of death and the very death itself! A Monoku of great concern dear Demetrios! Stay safe and blessed always.

Dearest , Besma, my attitude towards death is not appealing for I have come face to face three times and was given certain time to live but I am still here. I have written many poems on death my latest and most "Positive" is entitled " Death my Pal" please, read it probably you will find it interesting! My shortest poem on death is this: Death is a celestial pillow upon which the soul rests for a while dreaming of the life to come!" Thank you so much my friend!

One should not fear death if one has led a good life then it is but a gateway to a better life.

Very well put my friend, Tom, however there are people who do not believe and who fear death although they do not believe in afterlife! My statement covers them as well! Thank you so much!

- There is no other option ... regardless of fear or not - I have experienced many who ask to be allowed to leave this world (through my work as a nurse) - hugs // Anne-Lise :)

I understand that there are cases in which people who suffer prefer to die than continue living but here I am talking of Man and his attitude towards death. My statement: "fear of death is proportional to the degree one refuses to accept his own mortality" stands for all cases! Thank you my friend for taking care of these people who suffer so much! God bless you! Hugs XXX

Yes, it is for the vast majority but I have met some people who were praying for death to come! I recall a lady 105 in my village whose children had died and lived with her grandchildren that thought Death had forgotten her and she was crying every day because of that! Thank you my friend for your lovely visit!

I hope when my time comes I will not be fearful. I have witnessed two loving parents going and I saw acceptance and Peace never fear. An amazing Monoku my dearest friend....Maria xxx

As I have written, it is proportional to the degree of our acceptance. Your parents had certainly accepted it thus no fear shown! A shiny example in the face of death! Thank you dearest Maria! XXX
