between
The deep and shallow

Are resolved when two

Less words and stop
meeting at sea

look closer, inside of him,

Her accent from Bronx in New York,
This doll said she needed a fork.
The waiter’s reply
Was, “Ma’am, I’ll comply.”
Now she frets, expecting The Stork.
Sometimes words quite fails
Sight and mind not in touch
misunderstanding
Matted, framed, feathered and tarred
On display, I am permanently scarred.
No misunderstanding or optical illusion
My gallery heart begs for love’s intrusion.

Failing misidentifying misunderstanding;

Forgivable, pardonable
Misunderstanding, malfunctioning, glitching

Your words were moving through me
as if they were mute hands of the clock

LOVER MIDNIGHT STROLL
I held out my hand to you,
that's all I planned to do--
a helping hand's all I was thinking of
But you saw through other eyes,
and before I could realize,
you mistook kindness for love.
Yikes it's minus 15 degrees this morning
Are we being punished, is this a dire warning
For our warlike obsession
Our constant aggression
Methinks our species is misunderstanding
I freely presented to him diamonds
-"Idiot! Why you want to give me broken glasses?" He said to me.
I am sorry. No problem at all
It was a misunderstanding.

A mistake
Probably a misunderstanding
Or misinterpretation
A memory
Probably a poor mentality
Or misjudgement
A movement
Probably on a move
Or misguided
A motive
Probably a motivation
Or a mistake
I doubt it made a sound
Soft feathered
On damp ground.
Idle reflection
Stumbles through the mist
Of misunderstanding
Perhaps its time was up
Its days counted
Fulfilled
Mourning
Will be done
In silence
“Dammit I'm mad” backward is “Dammit I'm mad”
No misunderstanding there, to the point I must add
We can schmooze and cadoodle
Chance a bop on the noodle
A helmut is good protection in case one you have
We always question, why
When a soul, says goodbye
Misunderstanding death, we fear it
Its sole purpose, to free our spirit
Thus, unencumbered of flesh and bone
It returns to heaven, which is home

Like a wind chime,
my mouth makes sounds
at slightest opportunity
Its music changes
depending on the
feelings being expressed
It quite often
lands me in trouble
due to misunderstanding
Wish it would keep quite
“Dammit I'm mad” spelled backwards is “Dammit I'm mad”
No misunderstanding there, right to the point I might add
We can schmooze and cadoodle
But chance a bop on the noodle
A helmut is good protection in case one you have
