Never a lover of misery be
Never a seeker of sorrow
Ever the vision of happiness see
Ever the dreams of tomorrow
Does...Misery Love Misery?
Does...Company Love Company?
OR...Does Misery Love Company,
LIKE...Company Loves Misery?
Her story will seem
But a mystery, as long
As all people thrive,
While she longs, in misery,
For worlds that’ll never be.
Misery flouts age.
It knows no race, no gender, no status.
It flows silently in depths so deep
One could get lost forever.
Distant volcano vents bedim
the ever-changing azure welkin
Drunk off demons carousing amuck
in my metaphysical crepuscule
Misery:
Saddens souls.
Shocks sorrow.
Stings stained hearts.

Poetic form: Senryu
Moonlit night
Shine so bright
Shine a path
Evil has not tread
That misery has not walked
Hatred not ran
One still a virgin
To all kind
Form:
condemned by heavens are all those who contribute to the misery of others!

Her smile was sweet and so beguiling.
Glowing face and blue eyes smiling.
What a pleasant sight to see
A countenance free of misery
purple violets
picket fence hides the rough stuff
family misery.
yellow daffodil
showing the world perky,
fooling the neighbors
Behind this smile is a girl
Who begs for someone to steal
her pain,
Someone to become a thief of
misery
and a savior of suicide.
So much time to spare
But you're cemented by despair
Reliving dark days
Like some groundhog misery,
Stuck till you change your story
O men of earth! Tell me, do the misery and scars carved into your hearts serve as a vast barrier that halts your kindness and cordiality?
The world's misery will not cease unless peace and love are enthroned in our hearts!

Magic and mystery may go together,
But like misery and history,
The truth is (I honestly believe)
It's all a matter of attaining mastery.
In the inventory of misery,
there are those who are proud
of being worse than others...
this is the most abject form
of being proud!
She took her pain
and wrapped it around my heart,
tying us together in a misery
—from which we would never part
(Dreamsleep: May, 2021)
Cross eternal bliss?
Hell: What did I miss?
Accept Him now
Or huge bow-wow!
Connect with Him
Light doesn't dim!
...Not seeing the pain it will bring,
more misery, that’s a safe bet.
She felt beyond the traditions,
and now frantically hides from regret.
I'sa never gon' love a man you see,
cause a man put po' o me through misery.
I loved him so you see,
but that po' o man just didn't love me.
Encased in darkness
neither here there anywhere,
locked in misery
a reminder each day
the devil keeps his promise.

It can't gush into
the ravine in frozen state,
'though branches guard it.
Entered in Raul Moreno's contest, Icy Cascade.
Any total ignoramus
Can end up rich and famous,
But riches and celebrity
Often lead to misery.
Contented I have grown
Being poor and little known.
Cigarette butts pressed into the ashtray.
Yellow fingers from nicotine.
Wrinkled face!
Squeezed inside!
No passion!
No life !
Drown in misery ...
You were born from rain,
yet, your nothing but sunshine.
Darkness helped you find your light.
Misery showed you how to shine.
Hate taught you to love.
