Re Running
another mind trip
a dreamy trek in fancy
adrift on downhill memory lane
leaning on the old high gate of
Strawberry Hill nursing home
Waiting for the Penny Lane tram
To walk by Calder Stones
Then ride to Pier Head
On top front seat to see it all
To watch green Liver birds turn red
With Mersey sunset light
Then walk the Promenade at night
In salted missed delight...

Light Verse
Delicate Balance
A half-clad sun was trying to hide.
A cut moon was thrown into fire.
Evening was settling down.
A mind trip started to unravel
the pink eye in kaleidoscopic
colours of padded thoughts –

I do not know?
Dear Sage
Glimpse sans words
Sense poise heard
Moon beams stream
Quest meets dream
Moon glow bright
Taste fond sights
By this lake
Purge thoughts fake
Feel cold breeze
Surge odd sneeze
Warm tea sip
Map mind trip
Heart feels flow
Pulse now shows
Moon drowns fast
In cold blast
Clouds of mist
Frame dark gist
Night flings hymn
Like stray nymphs
Speak dear sage
On late page

Grandma Stacks
With love Ms. Stacks
you wouldn't believe this
Grandma has stack's
and she's all there
she has the meeting
she has the meaning
try and understand
she's the best
you can't stand it
plane and simple
stack's on the mind trip
and well you think why
it's o.k. and your sorry
but it's not you fault
honey, but don't drink it
your mind still on Ms. Stacks
it's hard to help you
charm or I have to start teaching
it's draining
but that's o.k.
stack's though........
