  Friends stop saying hello

   Life is a not-so-merry-go-round
     Enter with a cry 
       ~ Exit with a similar sound

The Eyes of Columbus

Columbus of magic was fighting for inner logic who saw a flat world of ruler disaster that sat on a merry go round ride created by our gravity master.

Unheard

Round and round,
the merry-go-round,
we fight and spite,
and blame, but no-one
I know, has had the wisdom
to grow, 
accepting -"we are not all the same".

its go up good and bad stuff
some time its shine
other time  its unkind
if you on lone anuth
no matter how rough
you get your ride  form the
heavenly sound

The merry-go-round of each day slipped away,
   and memories were all that was left

Until the turning stopped and my spirit released,

Unicorns On the Way

dour, dank, disgusting and dark cannot last forever
unicorns bringing magic elixirs are around the corner
ready to fill your world with optimism and bubble gum
pink cotton candy and merry-go-round rides in your future

A Stroll Through Eternity

Life is but a merry go round and round and round it goes , will it ever stop? Who can know? But as we go it surely is not slow , as we tread through the winter snow. For I have come to see life on earth as but an afternoon show.

A Carousel Ride

Carousels
at amusement parks
are fun
and enjoyable
horses
and possibly other animals
go up and down
but some are still
as the calliope music plays
and the merry-go-round
turns round and round
brings back childhood memories too

Opportunities missed by the score
    never to come 'round anymore

  Each time my knees shudder and knock
    clanging tick of the circus clock
  
  I take a chance, climb on the merry-go-round
    frowning, the smile of the clown

life

on this merry-go-round that spins constantly
life is just a blur as it spins seven days a week
I just want to jump off for a while to get a peek
to see what the world is really all about
life just runs together when I'm spinning to fast

Special Joyous Day

This is the special joyous day I had been seeking
An excited square dancer in pink checked gingham
Twirling her merry-go-round of white lacy petticoats
Delicious funnelcake magic dusted with warm sugar
Shrieking in the happy manner of a carnival ride

Silly Boy

Love gone mad
headed for mars
you say it can't touch the ground
your spinning like a merry go round

I say silly boy
your my toy
now let's go back to bed
let's make some noise

This love is crazy fun
so hold tight for the ride
you know 
you'll always be
my guy...

A Moment Too Rapt

Words slip from your cracked lips unbound,
spilling over my chest without a sound.
My limps then writhe with a flair,
teeter-tottering, feet bare.
