The Black Widow Spider meets;
And by the strength of its teeth,
And the end of its long leg's feet...
It defeats.

Inspired by Dilly Dally’s long title senryu ;)
Tom Sawyer did three somersaults, a back flip, stood on his head
Becky Thatcher scrolled up and down her device ~ said, 'Go soak your head'
How does Mondo while the time up there,
As he soars high in the sky of blue?
Why, he visits Mary Poppins there,
Along with clouds, and lovely birds too.
When the west Indian met her ideal east Indian man,
She went through a string of more than several Indian lovers.
Decided he's the one she refuses to string along.
Creek meets river
Intertwined they travel
Together Ocean.

Withstands, as rain pours,
Endures the treacherous night,
Remains motionless.
Morning dew glistens,
Petals blushing in the wind,
Equip for Victory.

Silent Mr.D'Arcy has Miss Lizzie sighing
In a love affair ,oh so trying,
Simmering sexuality within,
Understated by glance & look-
Love,pride,prejudice,all in Austen's book.
When a Continental
Met an Oriental,.
He thought it detrimental
To his mode of life.
But soon this Occidental,
Growing sentimental,
Wed the Oriental,
And she became his wife.

Happy birthday, dear Corazon,
The captain starts to wave goodbye;
The ship sails toward the horizon
Where the planet earth meets the sky.

Give me your life
And i'll write it down,
Show me the country,
and I'll take you to town,
Give me your love
and i'll give you my heart
give me a promise
and we'll never part.

While seeking inner peace
the most-hallowed Buddha
heard a chorus of angels
sing Hallelujah.
They weren't singing for him;
t'was for the Child and Madonna,
so he continued on
in his quest for Nirvana.
A root’n toot’n shoot’n cowboy
could rapidly and quickly annoy
Met a liar named Kim
Who so quickly fooled him
A dead call girl who tried to act coy.

At last, the lumbering beast awoke.
The suspense grew until he spoke.
"I'm new here, neighbor. What's your name?"
In response, an educated bloke
would extend his hand and exclaim,
"I'm Dr. Frankenstein, the same".
is half one teardrop

seen through a venn diagram
tears share a hidden layer
S-unday fifth of March
A-ims to gladden the blue;
R-ed beacon's shining rays
A-re bringing crimson
H-ue.
S-aturday night cold raindrops
A-re stopped by the dawn;
M-ist, haze, and fog fade,
O-ne morn meets the horizon.
Every day I sit on the park bench
when evening comes you do the same
If sun meets moon and I meet you
can our images appear together
leaving the shadows of ourselves
a perfect match that others can see
as we sit and touch as one.
Until eye meets eye
The thought wavers:
Appeal I, to his
Superficial need?
Albeit the heed
Of skirt-chasers.
Until lip greets lip
Doubt's chill sets in:
I'm not loveable!
As worthy a love
Felt but for a shove
Friend's friendly in!
Soft spring butterfly
Look into my teary eyes
In silence I cry

he never thinks fore he talks
but on rope, head high, he walks
there's nary a fear in mind
a stronger base you'll ne'er find
his voice a substantial weight
his promise looming and great
those below look up with awe
all too blind to spot a flaw
Boy meets girl today
well, sort of --
They meet online
save a few dimes
Way back in the day
boy met girl by letter
Some chose to spar
others fell in love from afar
Though times sure have changed
Dating, just higher-tech rearranged
