Medusa came calling one day
selling Avon. What can I say?
To stone I did turn.
“It's so hard to earn
a living,” she cried. “Rocks can't pay!”
A serpent saved Eve from a drouth
Medusa just opened her mouth
But snakes in her hair
How did they get their?
The Devil don't know North from South?
Plumbers refuse to make a return visit.
After Medusa washes her hair out well.
Too many eager snake eyes watching them.
Down the drain where monsters dwell.
You were a close friend.
Until I had a different point of view.
Your tiara turned into snakes.
Envenomated my peaceful place.
In turn, I gifted a mirror to you.
My wants and my desires
Medea to be heard
If only Medusa to afro the snake
In my kitchen no arsenic
but do not step on my toes
as my fangs will deliver the venom
MEDUSA GOES TO IRELAND
Medusa had green snakes for hair
For what, no one recalled
She sailed and saw Saint Patrick
And now she’s gone quite bald
open mind wide screen thought image of you
hair like medusa frozen
beneath the full moon scream

Dear Heart
And so I turned away from the world
I faced myself
My shadows writhing set in stone
I saw myself alone
I stared myself unknown
In silence to insane
I retired in self blame
A bold warrior goddess
Aided Odysseus
As he murdered Trojans
Adjusts Medusa to
A scary Gorgon, FREEZE
Aptly spins perfect web
Arachne can’t surpass.

As Pegasus arose
From Medusa slain,
So the Phoenix grows
From necessary flame.
Ingest your serpents' venom,
Those lessons learned through pain;
Don't wait for death for heaven,
Through your fire be born again.
In the sand I sleep,
Under the sand she creeps,
gentle dreams of peace I see,
She sense me with glee,
Turning over I see,
Medusa's gaze piercing me,
I took her hand,
went under the sand,
To dream gentle dreams.
Medusa
Mythology of three sisters
Monstrous, snakes coiled as hair
Men who are human are hated
Mortal and beauty is she
Most turned to stone when eye to eye
Murdered by Perseus for her head
Minerva’s punishment
Fishy and Medusa like
moves subtle in piscean flight
Slower than darting eyes
small mammals increase your size
Shady (steak out) waiting
cold smooth incalculable expectant satiating
For Carolyn Devonshire's attack contest!!
Mirrors remind her she must live alone
Everything she sees, she turns to stone
Dismal future she now faces
Ugly snakes upon her head like laces
She is a gorgon, Medusa is her name
Athena punished her, for beauty was her shame
hard
ly awake
staring into
the bathroom
mirror
but not
able to
move
now wide
eyed awake
i cannot
but keep
from
what
unkempt hair
is this that's there
me standing
as stone
if so
i've
become
my own

Like water hyacinth of lake
you cannot run away
from your psyche.

A separation from the
body was imminent.
Moon was calling.

The myth was there,
and summer, the night
opens like a medusa.

in your valley
looking passed
kneecapped
mountains
facing the cave
below where
your cyclops
lives
not looking
at your medusa
moaning over
your siren's song
i am no man

Form:
What anguish masks her face
with cherry chapstick on her lips
and Medusa’s beautiful head of hair
there are signs of inner turmoil seen
in her deep blue eyes and her demeanor,
Or is this just an attempt to conceal her
quintessential adolescent awkwardness?

the face of man

Faultless art is ceased in silence
Quite often curious how achieved
Never a month a year ever deep
Stories never apprise as much
Sculptures an paintings score
Medusa a fallen angel's myth
Hue'd by an artists true life
Roaring a cry to let not die
To love water pale Madonna
Gave texture purity an life

Hello I have a request…
LOOK INTO THY EYES
Forsake my snakes
Forsake the people I turned to stone
LOOK INTO THY EYES
I’m here to slither into your soul
Turn it to stone
And you ROT cold to the bone
LOOK INTO THY EYES
Forsaken to t’hee
Bring lust and gold to prosper
Rich to poor
Poor to Rich
LOOK INTO THY EYES
Please…
Bewitched by Madonna assay to last
The grief once felt was hard to past
And drew her innocence with tone
To never leave a sights inside frawn
For an art no similar exist, will never
Leonardo have loved a prise not any
Hied he to win her, petals never late
Love then sapped his past long greif
Manifested art hence in every belief
Love such as this is virulent.
Caustic and toxic, this love burns my innards.
I burn for you.
I need no antidote.
This love is worth the pain.
Your venomous tongue lashes me.
Words cannot hurt me now.
Your eyes petrify me, Medusa.
But my advances will not be halted.
I need my venomous fix.
My blood boils,
Ready for your poison to contaminate.
