the shielded thought,
the curt retort,
old lovers thought of why?

T  a talent we will not see the likes of again.
R  rambunctious as a child and in a blink of an eye back to a man.
A  always with his familiar Yo.
M  memories he gave us made us all love him so.
P  people he touched in so many ways more than he'll ever know.
A  across another range he rides somewhere.
S  smiling down on us and knows we still care.

Song of the waves beckon
                           the heart calleth, deep unto deep
                                captive mistress of the sea




  This poem is dedicated to the fisrt time I saw
the ocean. I watched the sun rise over the Alantic Ocean.
I remember I stood there looking over the ocean, 
and it seemed as though the whole world held its breath,
 and then the sun came up! I was her captive from that moment.
