Max

You bring a smile to my lips
Joy in my heart
Your wit is a day brightener to so many

Don't ever take the smiles away!

Father Christmas and Max

Child caring Father Christmas,
Messed with drops from Max's ass,
Gave little Max a new pamper
Without losing his temper.

No fingers, just claws.
No way could Max play the sax.

Beyond Mad Max

Beyond Mad Max

Australian actor Mel
Phoned his wife to give her hell.
Unknown to Gibson she recorded his rant
And we all got to hear his unholy chant.

My dear wiener dog Max’s nose three times twitches
when I drop in his bowl crisp savory flitches
His tail wags ten times as he eats
his bite sized bacon doggy treats
It’s my dachshund’s annoying OCD glitches

Mad Max Lament

Now that the Chrysler Chargers
With the Holden Monaros
And the Ford Falcons
Are all vanishing from
Our roads in the Outback
What will the bikie outlaws
In the next Mad Max movie
Drive on their tracks
Toyota Camrys just don’t cut it.

Max Mobber

Max Mobber

My dog named Max Mobber
A loyal friend, my little brother
Great moments when were together
Wonderful days will be remember
As you passed away and surrender
You will always in my heart forever.
Rest in peace my dog Max Mobber.

Premium Member Max Named For Max

I have a grandson whose mother adored Where the Wild Things Are
A book where the protagonist is Max, an imaginative boy, a shining star
When he came home to be with them, he lived up to his famous name.
Max, full of terrific ideas and concepts, playing the Wild Things game.

For Beloved Pets Over

(written upon the death at age 14 of our beloved shih tsu Max
 on Aug. 11.)

Over ~
Over
The Bridge
   where they go
To verdant eternal forests
  and fields,
To run and leap free
Without leashes, reigns or chains…
All heaven blessed
With no hunger or thirst
While waiting for us.

Premium Member Betrayal by Max Burchett

by Maxwell Burchett

Only those completely trusted,
Can completely betray.
Trust gained at great cost,
The one treasure once lost
That can never be recovered.

Betrayal leaves a stain,
A shadow on the heart.
Trust once lost, rarely regained.
Never to return, faith and trust depart.

Max the Cat Likes a Scratch

Max the cat likes a pat
And a scratch under his chin’s a fact
He doesn’t like the cold
And will sit near the heater so bold

Purring is not a favourite in thing
But he does it when there’s a happy ring
In the morning his everyone’s friend
Wanting a tip-bit from the drawer in the end.

Ungratefulness To The Max

It's sweet to help
To people in dire needs
But it's too heavy to feel
To whom you've given help
Will use you and betray you
It's more than lovers break-up
It's more than stabbing the back
It's more than Judas kiss
It's not human act anymore
It's against law of any righteousness
It's extremely evilness to the bone
It's really Lucifer in the making.

Premium Member Three Whispered Words, Max B

by Max Burchett

Fame and fortune I sought,
And I found, but at high cost.
Then I found it was not all that I thought.
Then in your love I found the most.

Whispered words that fan love’s fire, inspire burning desire,
In three whispered words spoken to the heart.
To have your love is my greatest desire,
Forever entwined, never to part.

Max

Little tiny fighter
Welcome to the world
We've waited here forever
For you to reach the earth

You came a little early
You gave us quite a scare
But the universe has bigger plans
You've came with special plans

So keep on conquering our hearts
With the pitter patter of your little feet
Know that our love and pride for you
Will be our greatest victory

A Sudden Decision To Hate Max

A sudden decision to hate Max
Who sent his bills like a tax,
Although, I’d wired him a fax
About a song I must first wax.

A reason to twist and turn
And out wardly burn,
Letting prejudice be born
And a relationship torn:
My defense; an easy-going creditor
Can bide with a lazing debtor

After I’d begun to hate Max
My face became supremely Lax
As though some stuff devoured from Octavio Paz.

Premium Member stare of steampunk Max

such an intense brown-eyed stare from a young guy
steampunk max, I supposed, from his loud sigh
I had heard of him, and his dangerous all-knowing eyes
His gears, coppers and whistles were not a surprise

He gave me a look of dismissal and brevity too
I wondered if he had heard of me, but had no clue
in an instant, he was gone, but I remember his stare
so intense, it lingered for a long time in the autumn air

Premium Member Max is coming to spend the night

our nine-year-old grandson is spending the night tonight
I texted his mother to find out what three snacks he would like.
I have never bought any of these three items.
We will need to go to a better grocery store to get them.
Better than we usually shop, for sure.
We do not mind. He has not spent the night for a long time.
Maybe a couple of years; I hope he sleeps better now.
Maybe if we fill him up with snacks, he will.

Premium Member Max Was Stamping In the Rain

Max was stamping in the rain, stamp stamp stamp
His eyes were getting cold, and his clothes were damp.
His mother let him play, she was happy at his mood.
He did not come in until he was lured by hot cheese food.

He stayed out there admiring the rain in such a way.
Loving the way it hit him in his hair and eyes that day.
His mother said it was one of the best days he had ever had.
She often expressed how the photo always makes her feel glad.

Premium Member Max the Coolest Sax Playing Cat

The club members all agreed Max was the coolest cat
“A Bohemian beatnik who knows where it’s at”
He taught Louie Armstrong to play those rhythm blues.
That is why we getting ready to tap with these shoes.

I don’t know what I expected, but certainly not a real cat.
This one was wearing seventies clothes with an old velvet hat.
He nodded my way and swiftly began making love to his sax.
I was intrigued and enthralled, he was an amazing musician, Max.

Missing Max

Your silhouette softens
Your scent weakens
Yet I still ache in your shadow

I ponder quiet moments
If it could be possible
That you may still be around

I know it's not probable
In truth filled reality
But I cannot bear to not hope

Your trinkets lay dormant
As permanent knife wounds
Sometimes I'm unable to cope

Washing up I heard whispers
Of you calling (kazy)
Bubbles so beautiful

Observe
Colourfilled
Therapy

Float.......

(My darling sister ... miss you most xxxx)
