her chilled breath
caressed my cheeks

no reddening here
just a darker ebony hue

the color collage 
of  foliage

canvassed my eyes
falling rainbow tears

dripping to nourish
mother earth

her joseph’s coat

reflected by scattered rays
peeping through shuttered  skies

the bridge over the river of change
is indeed a delightful crossing...

There was this moment
When I was standing out side
With my yellow pop-sickle
In the rain
With tears running down my face
Staring at the forest green grass
When all of the sudden the green grass was gold
And I felt the rays of sunshine on my wet face
Yet the pearls of rain continued to fall

Soaking my half eaten pop-sickle
