Marie Curie - a Clerihew

Marie Curie, the radiant,
In wits and style above the gradient.
Declared she that wigs would be "in"
Along with glowing skin.

Marie

There once was a girl called Marie
She worked at One Stop for free
She would pack up your bags
Sell u some fags
Yet her gob was as loud as can be!

If one could give you
an effulgence of sunshine
believe me ‘Sweetheart’
a token only, of a
reflection of what you give!

A Short Poem For Linda-Marie

I wasn’t there to hold your hand,
And couldn’t say goodbye.
I won’t forget your sunny ways;
Your passing made me cry.

With love for Linda-Marie Bariana

Marie

There once was a girl called Marie
Who's heart was as big as could be
She would give her last pound
To the tramp on the ground
Then go home with nothing for tea

As whom in a state of undress
The thought of disclosure
Stimulated by is
That unheard for a royal court's
"Could they but know of my
Room's silked indecencies!"

My Marie

MAKES ME WONDER EVERYTIME I PRAY.
ALMOST HAD HER IN MY LIFE TODAY.
ROYALTY AND PURE TILL THE LAST DROP.
INSECURE AND SO LOVELY IT MAKES MY HEART STOP.
EVENING MARIE!

To my sweetheart Linda-Marie Bariana
Hawaii’s lovely to go and I really wanna
We can make love under a date tree
Which is pleasing to me
Sipping on a Malibu with a banana

Marie Celeste

Marie Celeste

There once was a Man of Mystery,
Who survived an event in History.
Escaped the Marie Celeste,
In a Canoe, heading West.

As for the rest, it’s still a mystery.

Plump Girl Marie

Met this plump girl, who I called sweet Marie
We made love like the birds and bees meant to be
She let out a shriek
And hit me before I could peak
I the made a mistake of calling her my sexy Shirley

Premium Member Frivolities Walt Marie

Flimsy flashes of realization
wake me,

weakened by adventurous
good times.

Frivolities begin screaming
‘Later!

There is one perfect moment.
Right now.’

Allow no delay to undermine
pure joy.

I Am Me, Linda-Marie

Adorable-angel.  Mild.
Charmed with golden lips,
The world at my fingertips,
Clever. Classy. Curious.
Beautiful.  Bubbly-brainchild.

Premium Member Boiling Over Walt Marie

I find myself searching for the sea;
Floating;

Mavericks break upon the shore
inside;

Cymbals splatter inchoate foam;
Symbols;

Teahupoo surf behind lowered eyes,
splash in;

Welcome to boiling over nature,
my head.

To Linda Marie...

On the train Of dreams,
leaving your own land and friends,
 Always in Our Heart.

Premium Member En Force Walt Marie

Some days have a selfish sunrise
engorged;

Hard to focus on a thing but desire,
soul stained;

I want to do whatever I want
for once;

Nobody will steal my cup today,
I’m drunk;

Today everything will materialize
en force.

Premium Member Marie and Orie

Marie shares her banana daily with Orie, an orangutan
He liked no other human, only her, no other child or man
They sit and converse silently, sharing their food with each other
She sometimes wonders if Orie thinks she might be his mother

Premium Member Sinner Walt Marie

To hell with your hollow benediction.
Faulty.

Water shivers as the brass bell
just rings.

Drivel never comes from the soul.
Empty.

It’s blasphemy to be so utterly void
of fact.

I’m going to call a spade a spade..
Sinner.

Marie Antoinette
                                                  Quite the coquette.
                                                Beautiful French queen,
                                                 She met the guillotine.

Premium Member Boss Map Walt Marie

Sure as stars shined she stumbled.
Falling.

A fierce lightning rod flickering
wild sparks.

Put the appetite front and center.
Boss map.

Hard hands callused to the bone,
dialed in.

There’s nothing lucky about it.
She fought.

Premium Member Marie searching for love

(Marie from the Nutcracker grows ever older seeking her childhood dream...)

In her flat, thirty-something Marie
Is scrolling with mounting ennui;
Mr Right still eludes her -
She swipes left on Tinder,
Finding less and less fish in the sea

Premium Member The Rebuild Walt Marie

Cordoned off inside of a weak bubble,
flimsy.

My ginger touch could never crack
iron.

Bold moves aroused those senses
with haste.

Waited so long healing feels all wrong.
Fought that.

The rebuild came back with a vengeance,
won out.

Premium Member Reap This Walt Marie

I walked in to my least favorite words,
‘Last call.’

We didn’t have an alternate plan;
What now?

So the streets will meet our mayhem;
Inflamed;

Should have given us your refuge;
Reap this!

Now we burn what you told us to write;
Riot!
