Premium Member Trapped in a Tableau: The Map

I found the old map
folded neatly there
in the desk drawer,
unfolding I see
our last journey, planned
but never taken.

A Map To the Stars

The stars map a place
kept safe in their mind
to the memories of you
for your kin left behind

Premium Member Star Map

I consulted with my star map to find
that I had lost more than my mind.
I've gone far astray since my humble birth,
and now I'm on the planet earth.

Sad Map

In the temple of autumnal faint light
Prayer lips ask the soul peace
Humane ground is blood-soaked

Road Map

If you feel like a crack or a gap

You are no where near done

That's not a wrap

You depressed old sap

But light making its way in

Call it your new road map

Ball-Shaped Map

Ball-Shaped Map

The ball-shaped map of
the world on
my desk has a
nasally voice. Its little brother aside him can
breathe triple fast due to
his triple
fat adenoids.

Premium Member On a Map

They say old is a state of mind.
If I may be so bold it's not Ratified.
Everyone ages can't change that.
If old is a place, somewhere on a map.
Stay Forever Young, Thrive, and Surpass.

Forsee Map of Dreams

My way back home, follow the moon
I see shadows in the dark, follow the moon
Ahead of the timeline, follow the moon
Bow to him, he's the on, follow the moon
Full or half when it's there
follow the moon

Premium Member An Unchanging Map of Nothing

an appointment

seeming as a

fork in a path

portending

dark or light..

it is a lingering

of time

so it seems

in an unchanging

map of nothing

which all of

these words

express~~

Map

You repeat what you're good at,
and avoid what you're not good at.
A map with only one road drawn on it.
A traveler wouldn't put a map of someone
who hasn't traveled before in his bag.
A blank paper is better.

Send Me a Map, I'M Lost

I went to find happiness
I made a left, shoulda gone right

Went to find love
Nothing but emptiness was in sight

Looking for wealth
I found a penny in the dirt

Some one send me a map
Before I really get hurt

The computerized MAP test
Who could take it seriously?
Not even norm-referenced
A state test, only in Missouri
I watch a fourth grader complete his
Answering forty-two questions in seven minutes
Hooray for him I think

The Map

So we wandered across the old forest,
Our shoes full of mud, our clothes covered in water
The rain poured down? as a waterfall would

The sticks and stones were our allies
As with every step
We could hear the crunching

Flat Map

more then ample
flesh filled cups
make a world
of difference

her right
not mine
makes the
eastern

hemisphere
as her left
becomes
her western

part of the world
part of her body
that all
fits into

a bra
