Etch a Sketch

Zigzagged memories are easily recalled in my mind
Youthful hands playfully maneuvering an Etch A Sketch
Xeroxed veins have been forever etched into my elderly brain.

Instrument

A precise and delicate art it is
to learn how to capture the wind.
maneuvering it so gently through
while guiding it where to go.

Yield To God

Maneuvering through an astroid field
Until my soul to God I did yield

Didn't create to make us mean
Or just be like a machine

Created in us a guide
Sure does beat suicide!

Know that I will fly away
Instead of a smashed pot of clay!
Form: Couplet

Her First Rainbow

Glimpse of radiance
maneuvering through her dark heart.
Rejuvenating.
Resuscitating.
Giving life and joy.

Radiance like a woman
swaying around her garden,
crowded with flowers.
It breaks through.
Glows so bright
It reminds her of the sun.

Premium Member Fierce Mellow Prime 53

Set off by the smallest sip,
feed me what I want.
A rushed drip.

Luminous shade of darkness,
taste it on my lips.
Blown sadness.

Maneuvering souls like pawns
such a rapscallion,
selling bronze.

 I’m struck by your glow,
fierce mellow.

Premium Member Honeymoon

Hearts on fire

Over heads that sire

New couple on the double

Every action becomes triple

Yearning for each other's hand

Maneuvering who has a better hand

On truth or consequence

Or Games of the General

Mimes

Maneuvering a maze
muddled and dazed but not
      mixed-up, I decided
my life must change in all
      mimes. The mirror I see
me via denies me
      my rumination of [?].

The Divine

My feet feel their way
Along the rocky river bottom
Arms balancing
Waist bending
Ankles slipping, twisting,
Toes gripping on algae-covered stones
And maneuvering
Through ice-cold hell
Hell
Hell
Hell

Until you.
A warm tuft of grass and clover
Soft and green
Ankles burning with warmth
Love
Salvation.

                maneuvering over the vast expanse
                    might take eons
starships leaving the speed of light
                    in their rear-view mirrors

crews of AI along for the ride
                    in case G-d might decide
                    to breach the great divide

Premium Member Going Steady Forever

Ace the pilot could cut the Migs down fast
At an early age his future was cast
Great at navigation, and maneuvering too
What is the hold up on him asking Sue?

She has been waiting for ever so long.
They have been engaged since Neil Armstrong
They are not getting younger; their knees are bad.
“Why don’t you drop him?” Says her sister “he is kind of a cad.”
