as the old year fades away
unrealized hopes of yesterday
tissued dreams packed in a box
put on a shelf but not forgot
fresh perspective, fresh new year
a plan-o-gram to make it clear
erase the slate, start again
keeping all once held dear
resolutions not fulfilled
roll them over, a re-try
add some wishes I will keep
fantasy never in short supply
I beg
Have mercy
Kill this dream
End my misery
If you will never choose me, make it clear now
Give me something real to mourn
If you are destined to break my heart, do it now

Confusion is wisdom's slayer
Do not hide your meaning under fancy layers
Be blunt and straight in what you say
Be honest and true then be on your way
Too many words and too long of a speech

The morning sun glows
The morning sun glows,
a new day we’re finding
Still everyone knows,
October reminding
That autumn is here,
the temperature chilly
And let’s make it clear,
don’t think it is silly
When goblins galore
and witches, brooms handy
Come knock on your door,
requesting some candy
For later today,
as twilight we’re greeting
In costumed array
we’ll be trick or treating

Oh Lord, sin has found me on my knees
My hands hold my face to hide me
tears drop slowly from my eyes,
filled with my hearts burden of lies.
He knows where to find me,
and sees the problem here,
He begins his teaching to make it clear.
My fault shone brightly, spiritual eyes open to see
His pain and suffering in Golgotha, nailed to a tree
He took upon the sins of the world,
He did not forget about me,
My burden was taken...........and I was set free.
With my love comes a peace of mind,
