When the sun shines
All I see
Is a sudden line of poetry.
Sometimes its brilliant and illuminates
Or maybe its angry and covers the
Sun with clouds.
Clouds of fury,
of hate.
Sometimes the poem sings songs of love
and sometimes it just shines the sun
Over a magnifying glass,
-- And gives me a sunburn....

Tadpoles swimming, half forming,

Frogs finally hopped at last,
Now, no frogs, cause no rain,
Is it because of climate change?

what i immediately learn
about myself is that i am

which makes her 
impression of me lower

Like a contact lens on a very nearsighted cornea
smoothes out the rough edges of sight,
We see a magnifying glass with reflections
of the past, broken and shattered
The center of a city with images and visions
of innocent lives lost
with a completed 168-piece puzzle destroyed
a devastating reality spreads darkness to many
we remember the pain and suffering of a 
city in chaos on a normal day that
turned out to be everything but normal....

He once saw the elephants
heading for the hills
long before the news broke on that far shore.

Even today
when his magnifying glass is cloudy
with questions
he still sees the asteroids.
breaking away from their trajectories
and falling upon the earth
like a pack of wolves.

He told the ophthalmologist
about this vision
she just smiled,
at least he thought she smiled,
for her teeth were as black
as a moonless night....

All deceitful persons tell tales,
Do not believe them, words to heed,
It is their constant, never fails,
Tell untruths is their basic creed.

Unearth descendants evil breed,
Traverse the ages in details,
That was planted, a wicked seed,
Outrage reflects their wayward trails.
