A Paradox Vignette
His music was to cause a riot
As Stravinsky lost the plot,
Beethoven ...it was not-
This rite of Spring
Soon made the critics sing....

Silence
Anger only highlights your weakness,
it shows your lost the plot.
Keep yourself calm,
cool and collective.
For your silence can say alot....

We Lost the Plot
Eye to eye,
then more,
then
lips to thigh,
then nothing,
because we always grow apart,
because there's really nothing there.
We lost the plot....

Ap-Pall-Ing
Four pall bearers with a coffin were not,
in a cemetery able to find their spot.
They walked ‘round and around
all the cemetery ground,
so I’m certain they have lost the plot....

Just Talking Kisses
So..?
Yes what
Have you lost the plot?
No I have not! I am just feeling very hot
So..?
Yes what
Do you fancy a snog???
No I'd rather kiss my dog
Oh thanks a lot!!

Sensing the End
SENSING THE END
I think I’ve given you all I’ve got
Perhaps it’s that I’ve lost the plot
Not something I have seen before
No passion is there anymore
Light in your eyes has dimmed somewhat...

Chocs Away
I kidnapped the poor Easter bunny -
His chocolate eggs are very yummy
But I lost the plot
And ate the whole lot
I've terrible pains in my tummy
HAPPY EASTER SOUPERS!!!

Rest In Peace
When mirrors crack they shatter all illusions as rainbow’s end quick fixes lie in tatters on the floor.
A plot for every dream and every dreamer engraved with stirring mottos bound to fade.
For those who lost the plot a final resting ground,
while soul survivors live to bear the scars of unplanned residue....

Time
My time has come to step aside
The time is getting very wide
I lost another tooth today
So time to go again outside
I will fear not
Because I am not
Worried if you lost the plot
As it's easy to forget the words
The ones we already heard
The time is now
The time is near
The time we all have good cheer
So the time to reflect
What did we actually mean by that...

Going To Live Forever
We can of course live through other peoples death,
but not our own,
which also means, we cannot experience anything
after we die.
and cannot be aware when we’re dead,
just like before we’re born
So we always seem alive, from our point of view,
“we’re immortal by our very own perception”

The British Working Classes
He wakes very morning
to trudge through his day
a labor of love
or just bills to pay?
it seems that forever
he's been burdened with debt
and retirement a time to reflect
or regret?
She awakes every morning
to labor all day
kids are in day care
there's really no choice
no other way
the bank accounts empty
and pay day seems so far away
I think that this government
has lost the plot
think of the people
who ain't got a lot....

How Much Longer
How much longer?
I am waiting to die now
Can’t see a way forward
Don’t want to look back
I’ve finished thinking how
Had enough failure, and
Can’t cut anymore slack
Can’t see any point, man
Running on a treadmill
And getting nowhere fast
There’s nowhere left to stand
Lost the plot of the future
And I can’t change the past
I want to close my eyes forever
Just can’t see the point!
Just can’t see the point!

I Owe It All To Poetry
for two years i expressed misery in poetry
who knew why and what had ate at me
my depression deep rooted in mystery
changing who i was most apparently
then repressed memories started showing me
mist which hid my history lifted for clarity
because i wrote my feelings down
my head cleared up and knots were not
it was the hope behind the cloud
I said with fear I'd lost the plot
poetry kept me sane
released the pain
cleared up the brain
poetry made me again...

The Booster
The booster is in town
trying to keep Omicron down
The governemnet is scared
the coronavirus has reflared
People will get sick
With this guy ever so quick
Are there any doctors and nurses around?
we need all hands on the ground
The UK has lost the plot
And Australia is being lead by clots
Lots of people will die
And many families will cry
But it was all worth it
All that true determination and grit
We saved the economy
surely you don't believe in astrology...
