Thoughts of Two Poets
.

                 Our thoughts
                     tumbled
               while we kissed
                      lisping

                  "i love you"...

Clandestine Things
Charmed, stunned…
That’s what you did!
My eyes are all in your pictures.
It’s a stealthy feeling.
“To play or be played”,
Both are my menacing games.
My druthers sound too high
But I wind up lisping your name....

Wee Folk of the Rain
Their mumbling again
Wee folk of the rain.
Each word and each syllable
A lisping, spat out.

Yond this dark window
Heard from my pillow.
Off leaf, jumping. Off roof tile
Sliding. One by one.
Of all that drops by for fun
A great turnout....

Oh, God and Goddess are all around us.
from place to place unguided,
they’ve found us.

Land of limpid eyes and skies,
where mystery abounds.
‘Mongst lisping lips, oft heard
Gaelic limericks sound.

While gale gusted winds whip wave
dashed waters to mist;
atop the high cliffs of Moher
the Fairie found us....

Rooting For 8 To Five
Woman of Fertile Earth, come sing to me

let these hands, feet explore your hidden wonder

to submerge into dewy grounds rippling life's music,

of infant buds lisping tenderly among field's roots

as nature grants lush springtime its tuneful arrival.

Premium Member Sylvester the Cat and Tweety Bird
Sylvester the Cat,
the lisping schemer, would get smashed flat
by Granny swinging her broom in a rage
when he tried to lunch on her bird in a cage.

Tweety Bird,
clever canary, spoke when danger occurred.
Inside his cage the wee, wary one sat
and said, “I tawt I taw a puddy tat!”

Premium Member I Want To Go To Jar Ducks Toffee
I want to go to Jar Ducks Toffee, he said.
I thought he was lisping and he meant the coffee place.
The one I despise, because their coffee twists my bowels up.
After drinking stuff from this place I am in pain.

I cannot go there, I tell him.
I am sorry, I love you, but not that place.
He is surprised, because I am his grandma, and I love him.
And now there really is a Jar Ducks Toffee place here....

Speech Impediment Job - Seeker
SPEECH      IMPEDIMENT     JOB-SEEKER

An  aged  respondent  called  Smith
Answered the  newspaper  job-list  herewith
“Man wanted as geologist
Great skill at digging out schist
And now and again a large batholith.”

But this geologic skill was a myth.
Because like rock-hound kin and kith
They  just  wanted a man,
Not  the   lisping  old  gran
That they thaw when she gave them a kith....

Your Little Face - Poem For Little Onea
Your little face;
Like a flower in the morning;
You might recognise me from afar;
When I see you,
as hiding your head in the lap of the mother;
That time I miss my mother;
Your Half hidden small cute face;
Looks like a bear toy;
When I show you my hands
You do intriguing!
When you take your little hand in mouth;
I scold you;
But still give you smile!
When I teach you to speak;
You tend to be quiet;
But I love your lisping voice!

Retune Our Soul.....
My wings of eye,disturb my I
as tears form to fill the sky
eventually fall on such unrest
while manys effort try their best

Calamity's enmity
difficult for most foresee
wounded sparrows fractured wing
altered flight in awkward lisping

Where songs are sung now off key
tuning forks remind the BE
from deep within' the musics felt
to blend and melt,in time it shalt

Harmonize to recognize
inner peace our inner prize
coordinate how relate
love will vanquish growing hate.......

Lurch
Scrolls raked along
the crevices;
limits of a breath
patched, thick.

Chiseled down the
rumbling bark,
brimming loops,
cross road nooks of
trembling passion,
scorching rues.

A crumpled hearth
of perpetual dormancy.
Raw upon the
lisping drones of the
bamboo,
broader than the
clearest black,
an influx- grim, vivid;
cryptic on
morsels of my
slumber, dampened
ears...

Flashes of detached
voices, intuitions;
monotonous as this
tread-
a lurch; different
yet whole....

Latino
The cute, lisping leather jacket
births from the door like
God's only child

and coos on the phone to
God
         knows whom.

He is the messiah
the one we've been waiting for.
Beautiful browned skin isn't
what the good were expecting

But,
     it is He who takes my
breath (with a veiled sashay)
           He who makes the

waters ebb and sway
the flowers grow old and
our earth shake
(as fine bone china
plates fall end over end
and break)

The cute lisping Latino boy....
