A Heavy Light Thought

Gravity is telling time
line by line
my future is told
but I will rest assured
death lightens the load.

Death just creates food for worms, ants, termites, rats, mice, and things we know nothing about, all of which makes them very happy indeed, so no one lives for naught! This pandemic is one long Thanksgiving banquet for them, so no need to rush in with dessert! Aloha! Rico

I feel the weight of the burden in this poem Maureen. "There are people in the world so hungry, that God cannot appear to them except in the form of bread." -Mahatma Gandhi
