Leg of Lamb

Give thanks to the God of Abraham
With a juicy leg of lamb
He always keeps His word
With a bass voice have you heard?

Being the Only Leg

I feel like a leg
used
mistreated
nothing but a leg
no one cares
i am stepped on
and walked on
and forgotten
love me

Better Leg Than Never

A man in Austin did stand,
On his head in the Texan sand.
When asked why this feat,
He replied, oh so neat,
"Better leg than never," so grand!

Break a Leg

A starlet stands in the Green Room
Creating an aura of doom
She will face her fate
As a vampire's date
But the star can't climb out his tomb . . . .

Premium Member Her Leg Is Dead

We have to be delicate grandma said
There is no time for that. Her leg is dead!
Thought it was her tummy
I was playing rummy
But I swear I thought it was also her head.

Premium Member If I Cut Off a Leg

If I cut off a leg I weigh much less
That might look better on my doctor’s chart
Think it for seconds, but it’d be such a mess
Truthfully, I do not think I have the heart

Premium Member Raise a Leg and Pee

I thought pee lines were for females
But when dogs stop wagging their tails
Guys seek the closest tree
Then raise a leg and pee
In a queue, their barks sound like wails

Premium Member History While Standing on One Leg

Is persecution a sign of weakness
        prosecution a sign of strength

To the victors go the spoils
        from might makes right
            the world recoils

Leg Weary and Tired

Leg weary and tired
Feeling nearly expired
I shuffle on and on
Just wanting the miles to be gone

Home in the distance now
The hurt will disappear no wondering how

Premium Member Break a Leg

You know when you're about to perform
and someone yells, “ go break a leg ?”
What happens if you do break a leg?
You send them your hospital bill.

Premium Member Pork Chop Runs Off With a Leg of Lamb

My pork chop ran off with a leg of lamb
Had a car accident and I mean - BAM!
The first one on the scene was my sweet old gram.
Luckily she had her video cam.
Filmed the lovers running on the lam.
We laugh at that tape whenever we can!

Point of View and Another Leg

Point of View and Another Leg

To differ with many have been known to beg;
What we need to do is drink one more keg;
Point of view,
Do need a new;
Even if legally up on me are another leg.

A legal interpretation of this one
would be interesting.

Haiku maxim for everyday life

HAIKU MAXIMS FOR EVERYDAY OFFICE AND FIELD WORKS

Clerical errors
Must be on the part of clerk
Unless you’re the boss

Hastiness leads to
Unproductiveness of work
Thus, leads to disgrace

Never say “I can’t”
For doing it is your call
Thoughtless man says it

Pulling Her Leg

jokingly i told her
i'd start at her
toes no matter
which foot

as a matter
of fact her
left little toe
is a little

weird like mine
like most folks
but then these
aren't just

anyone's these
are her feet
narrowed down
to a foot

specifically her
left but i won't
leave until i've
satisfied her

Water Snake Night Mare

A bad sleep and I had to wake!
A long fight with as much long snake
From land progressing to a lake
I knew not what to of it make,
Save that Precious Life was at stake…

Inside the lake did I more ache,
For in it did more troubles take,
Not warned it was a water snake
And the swimming fighter ‘its cake’…
To plunge into water bakes cake.

Break a Leg

structure seems to soften slightly
under your steps; systematic leaps
up, over & out into the depths. eyes
dilate & grow cold from so many deaths;
no longer wept; burn out. here,
listen, the shout of sense echoes at our
expense, shadows the oncoming threat.
no more resistance, let all awareness go-
as the curtain releases, shields the show.

Premium Member Rudolph’s Broken Leg

The reindeer games included basket ball
Guess who bruised his brain from a freaky fall
And broke his leg all in vain, his red nose raw
Rudolph is his name but he can’t answer calls

For Santa’s hot line rings but broken leg
Is just as bad as Rudolph’s bruised head
But he has an idea maybe work from home
By delivery service of his silver drone.

Premium Member Leg Hair

I know I shaved the hair off this week
The razor was a solid brand
I felt my legs afterwards,
They were smooth as baby
Yet today I saw
My legs are dark
Curly hair
Grew all
Back

So maybe it was a week or two
Could possibly might have been
I shaved them hard on my knee
Hair floated down the drain
Grooming is no fun
The hair grows back
Hard and fast

Premium Member Roudolph's Broken Leg

Roudolph the red nosed reindeer
had a very broken leg
and if you ever saw it
you would say it made you beg

What would Santa do now?
with his lead reindeer in a full leg cast
would he be able to deliver
all the world gifts very fast?

Then the answer came to him,
as a way to carry on the glee
for all the reindeer to wear a headlamp
and they all went down in history

Premium Member Rudolf's Broken Leg

It was December twenty-fourth
when Rudolf went on a bender.
This red-nosed hero from the north,
a lousy driver, drink did render.

He went out on a tear
and rammed into Blitzen's fender.
Santa was in despair
Rudy broke his leg, needed a public defender.

Rudolf's gal said she'd guide the sleigh,
though she was another gender.
Now, Saint Nick was on his way,
when Rudolf, he did lend her.

Broken Leg

I was walking down the street
I have blisters on my feet
Its so hot out here
I think my home is near
I heard a car coming
I heard someone singing
Then bang they ran me over
I think i need a four leaf clover
They ran over my leg
And i landed on a peg
It hurt really bad
My broken leg makes me sad
I need to call my dad
He didnt answer his phone
What am i going to do with this broken bone?
