Red White and Screw U

The Peace & Love Generation
Got whacked for their motivation
Now they know the score
There's money in war
That's why we're the richest nation!

Freedoms Not Allowed

Not allowed to chew gum anymore,
What will be next, not able to open door?
This may seem frivolous.
Will be advantageous,
To profiteer, he will know the score.

Premium Member Fool Me Once, Fool Me Twice

Kiss my lips and tell me lies

I don't trust your alibis

It may come as some surprise

I see the truth in your eyes

Don't you think I know the score

Heard it once or twice before

One thing that you can't ignore

I keep coming back for more

Each Passing

One last touch of their lips
Expresses eternal love
It’s the parting that’s the worse
Not knowing if they will meet again

Each day they endure the burden
And learning not to think is hard
For they live on the edge
And know the score.

Four For Fore

For this poem to work, I need four in the fore, that's what I’m looking for.
For the four in the fore it may become a bit of a bore
Because the four in the fore need to know the score
It’s Debbie not me that wants the four in the fore, who the heck knows what for…?

Mon Frere

Mon frère

T*ts and a$#
Hips and thighs.
I look at you
In surprise.

For i am more,
These things don't define me.
Wanna know the score?
Strength, courage-intellect combine me.

So please, reflect on Your flaws,
This burden's not mine to bare.
These mistakes are yours
We're all us born equal Mon frère.

The Score

Meth, what a Monster!
It takes control.
It enters your body.
It grabs your soul.

What ever you had,
Cosider it Gone!
It will take your health.
It will take our home.

The more you make,
The more you'll need.
This Monster - you will
Continue to feed.

You can try to escape,
But you know the score.
One point for you -
Meth, one more.

Separate Ways

There is no more to do or say
Except I’ve lost you anyway
What point is there for trying any more
Let’s just go our separate ways as we know the score

It’s four o’clock in the morning I can’t sleep a wink
All I hear is the dripping in the sink
As our love drips slowly away
And I am awake to see the first light of the day.

What Are You Waiting For

What are you waiting for
You know the score
Even if you don’t win
Just get up and do it again

It doesn’t matter in the slightest
For just doing it is the best
You’ve seen most things too
And you’ve done them and grew

So be true and good to you
And those you love too
Things may look bad some times
But it will be better and things will be fine.

Premium Member In the Water

Okay, she agreed, but I will not go into the water; I do not need a suit.
I watched her march right in, trying to get a photo of the seagulls
Within minutes she was sitting in the ocean, waves tickling her toes.
Did you bring Mom’s suit? Our six-year-old asked.

Of course, I told him.
We both know the score.
We have seen her do this plenty of times.
She has the impulse control of a lava spewing volcano.

Face Value

At face value
I would recommend
this café to you.
Let me be your guide,
I will not lie.
The food is great,
the menu varied.
The ambiance
allows for a relaxed evening.
There’s even a fern
hanging by the window
next to the piano.
On a stormy day
It’s a great place to seek shelter.
There’s a sturdy cabinet
in back
where you can put your possessions
for safe keeping.
Let me tell you it’s great,
I’m a critic,
and I know the score.

In the Ballroom

Gliding, waltzing 'round the floor
with your true love is not a chore,
brings back those memories of yore.
You know the score! You know the score!

A dip, a swirl or fancy step,
it all enhances dancing rep.
Practice! Practice! so no misstep.
You just must prep, you just must prep.

Now you can take your rock-and-roll
and drop it in a great big hole.
Ballroom dancing, that is my goal.
Good for the soul. Good for the soul.

It Takes Time

It takes time to build a future~
Time to get over the past~
Time to get to know you~
Time to make it last.

We don’t want to rush this.
We want to take our time.
But I already know that.
I’m gonna make you mine!

We’re not without experience.
It’s true we know the score.
But if she ever loved you,
I am going to love you more!

My heart is oh, so happy.
Love makes me sigh and smile.
All that I am asking is
Just to be with you awhile!

Armament

The armament

Awakening into the harsh light
of blinding loyalty.
Jubilation and flags.
Soldiers synchronized
Stirring talks, hateful lies told
La vie en la rose
someone sings to stall time
The unthinking holler
Daring, the long night
The thinkers know the score
The smart knows too
but join, bet on the winner
Among the ruins, the unthinking walk
The scholars write books
the smart knows when the smell
of cordite is gone, the world needs
more weapons

Betrayed

Listen to poem:
Your lying eyes and misleading smile.
Your darlings and my dears, so insincere.
You speak my name when I'm not there
but it's not to say you loved me.

Why tell me lies and live a life so false
and give me hope, your such a fake.
And placate with that laugh of yours
and fictitious lies I love you.

Well I.ve been told I know the score
your deception been discovered
and I've invested in our love my dear
A Gun I've bought, a trigger pulled.

And now my dear you are know more.
