Stepping Stones

And I am sorry if I hurt you.
But we were balancing on a stepping stone.
One that was beautiful none-the-less

But darling we had kingdoms in our horizons.
That I could not see
From our little stepping stone.

And now,
I am forever grateful to you,
For pushing me away from your chest
And towards my kingdom come.

I understand the poetry. Sometime we are in the wrong place and need to be released. Sometime the next step in life. Is the correct one. Thank you Julia for sharing the amazing poetry.

This was beautiful Julia, a little sad maybe but definitely one that brings a smile in the end. Sometimes losing a love hurts, but often it works out for the better. Really nicely done.

Pure optimism here, not easy to come by after being pushed away from a chest, so I am yelling "bravo!" and Trixie my little muse and I are clapping for this one.
