Fault Lines

Justification
of illusion
the surface
unsure

Each step
poorly taken
new death
— to allure

Our Vacancy

Red, Black, Yellow - Brown or White
During the day or - late at night
-	When Life is lost
-	It’s too great a cost
No justification can make it right.

Anvil Dreams

The anvil wallows on his heart
His dreams, trodden, alas depart
Pride triggers a cursory front
The fierce justification hunt
He steps to nowhere from the start

On Andy Murray's Us Open Victory

In him the brilliance
and self doubt of a nation
learning to say
without justification
or qualification
This is my place
on the stage of the world
And this is my mark
on the page of history

Letting Go

Justification, if only I
am capable of listening
to reason. But why should I?
Your choice hurt me deeply.
So I tread careful,
not to stumble
in to love
again,
yet.

Pain Evermore

Inflated lies keep me on edge.
Tender in her promise to let me down without justification.
Sweet fragrance mixed with wine talk are enough to keep me ignorant.
If I don't leave soon I might not live to regret it.

Jesus

Just a tiny baby
joyful about bringing
justice. He and Father
jointly prepared the plan.
Jailed and crucified,
justification paid,
Jesus bought man’s pardon.

Lockdown

abhorrent aberration of freedom restraint
due to a virus toxic to taint
indiscriminately poisoning justification
fear mongering media increasing pervasion

A breathy caterwauling doesn’t evoke feelings glowing hardily
Impacting justification. Kindness leaves meaningful nuances
off-putting quiet responses,
surging toward unified victorious wins

Justification

Justification is the only recourse
When truth starts sounding bitter
They will convince you
They will argue with you
They will beat you
They will kill you
They will idolize you
Like a stagnant pool stand you
They breed out of you
You become the Justification

lives
shaped by trauma
scars on hearts
and minds
dominate thought and feeling
inflicting anger
that's nourished and cuddled
with justification
self consuming delicious
rage
I didn't mean
to put in you
I let go
way too late
it took therapy
on my knees
praying
you
let go too

I love you because...
where did we go from there
lets take
because-for the reason that.since
reason-a cause, explanation, or justification for an action or event.
Since-in the intervening period between (the time mentioned) and the time under consideration, typically the present.
...i met you

Missing Face

Disappointment
Sinking slowly when
All I see isn't him
That expected face
Long-awaited, even
Promised
No warning
No justification, just
Gone
His missing face
Steals my joy
His missing face
Builds my frustration
His missing face
Snuffs my hopes for today
And raises my hopes for tomorrow
