To God It Seems As Though
Hills pull their blankets out
and leave bare their naked spines
permitting Junes and me
to Summer there
Streams must appear to Him
as traveling caravans
The painted leaves like prisms do
with hues of rumpled Persian rugs
All seems Persia has pulled it's banners out
and march off to the sea
Turbaned poplars and lakes like tents
Is it jocosity?...

I do not know?
June
The month of June has just arrived.
How many Junes to be?
A month received as precious gift
And guarded jealously.
Each day of June is a jewel

Days
Sundays are blue
Monday's the start
The week be the cord,
Months are full
The sun gazes at earth,
mother moons duel
Sitting right but standing wrong
Left the door open
And the windows closed
A day gone, a moment to long
Junes cold but July coldest
I took a wrong turn, that be the greatest
Life's cold, so are you
Mountains are high,
The sky be blue
People move so do i,
Who and what?
They ask, i guess nobody has a clue!...

After Me
Lots of items, quite a heft
Will get lonely, when I go
Things I cherished will be left
To be packed, to be thrown
All that was supporting me
Till the end of the road
Signs of my eternity
Will get rot, and erode
Only spirit will survive
But I won’t be quite the same
It will be another life
With new memories, new name
There’ll be gardens in a bloom
More of roses, after me
There’ll be moons and sunny Junes
And slight ripples in the sea....

The Rose of Summer
Hello full moon of Junes' Gemini
Strawberry delicious
You are the rose of summer to some
I swim languorously on my back
Floating up to you on earths' heated vapors
Gliding through cotton ball clouds
Mist swirling around my outstretched limbs
I gaze up to see your dreamy round face
Stars hidden by your luminescence
I turn to submerge below your universal view
Playing peek-a-boo with the maiden
Her smile holding me through the night tide
wirtten 6-17-2019
