Just My Luck
It’s Friday and my old black cat
Across my path he goes
He does not care for human dates
His nonchalance, it shows

He blesses me by crossing me
At least that’s what he thinks
But since it is the thirteenth too
I’ve just been double jinxed....

The Real Life
We all blame life
Life is cruel, barbaric and unfair we say
That Life is an abstract concept
Each time we cursed her, we jinxed our stars
She is the collective us
She reproduces what we create
She regurgitates what we feed her
She is us , we are life !...

Premium Member High Jinks
I wondered if a poet could be jinxed
   perhaps by switching her inks
perchance a drug to alter her thinks
or just denying her a full 40 winks...

I thought I'd find out last night
   at or around midnight
But boy, could that lady fight
bit my hand ~ now I can't write...

Her Looks
Jinxed out
was the sex panel
on the honour’s integrity.
Deep water a fish
was found dead.

The destination
of your rival was
feminism. I was talking
of the moon
without gender.

Your fingers were probing
the dancing words,
in this strange event.
Darkness was falling
on my lips in morning.

Chaste Tree
A poem writes my name.
I am trembling
on paper like salt.

Flowing like moon
on the black wound.
The lamb and the skull.

I know the saint
invented by masses.
You need a fresh awakening.

A vastness from nothing to nothing.
Later the pebbles will dance
on the bay of death.

Sometimes the scales were jinxed,
sometimes the weight was light.
I was sitting under a chaste tree.

I Feel Like My Life...
I feel like my life has no meaning
Like the only thing I was born to do
Is the cooking and the cleaning.

I feel like my life isn't going anywhere
Like I'm not meant to be like other people
And no I don't think it's fair.

I feel like my life is going down the drain
Like I'm not supposed to feel the good
And I'm only supposed to fell the pain.

I feel like my life has taken a turn for the worst
Like I didn't get lucky or jinxed
But I got cursed....

Cycling Nature Dreams -Hs
jinxed souls i combat each night laboriously~ snorting loud on bed cognizant i lay browsing mounds of ceaseless tasks~ drifting in my brain fire flies breed in cheer enclosing frame serenely~ rouses my spirit i soar in night air enthralling glimpses of stars~ steering halts at dawn cycles thirsty dreamy thoughts~ as i sail on boat with snorts

Never Let Me Go
Never, no, never let me go,
Hold on to my hardened heart,
Let's join our jinxed jumbled lives,
And begin a beautiful start,

Never, no, never let me go,
Catch on to my crumbled crux,
Let's meld our mad moulded minds,
And form a free flowing flux,

Never, no, never let me go,
Grasp onto my guarded ground,
Let's build our bad, broken selves,
And arrange to alter us around.

A Sad Face Without a Story
Time clock,
               Baby
Stuck on the inside
out on the black bench,
	       Baby.
Never going back like the good old days
like the jinxed rinks, cut out
like watersheds.

It’s so obvious,
	       Baby.
That you want the top shelf
honey, lookin’ like a million bucks.

Those rose pedals for the first time
love, in the attic up top,
               Baby.
For the first time, overlook the city
with a new clock.
For hours we sat unlocked,
waiting for the Sun to show up....

Jinxed Myself
i won't say it out loud.
if you knew, you could understand.
it's hard to act human
with a head full of sand
and spiders with cobwebs
catching every thought
before it lands.

i get confused between
what's real and imagined.
i'm excitable. sometimes sad
at the birth of an idea, a fantasy,
upon the realization
it may be just that.
and i've jinxed myself
by creating a moment
before time has allowed.

if memory serves correctly,
i'll remember your face
fading into the crowd....
