Fireman Jim felt morose and grim
He could not put out a fire
He lost his hose
So Jim foreclosed
As he no longer had the desire
Rider on the storm
Rider on the storm
I want to eat a worm
I want to eat a worm
I want to be the germ
Infecting your epiderm
Rider on the storm.
A new basketball player in the gym
Was at once by all dubbed Very Tall Jim.
Give him the ball,
Very bad call,
Dribbling in Jim hit his head on the rim.
Glued-to-TV Fay and Glued-also Jim
Watching love match shows sighing on a whim.
Both pining away
For a wedding day
Chance meeting from Lazy-Boys mighty slim.
is it goodbye too?
Jim Link fought the valiant fight
in and for poems, and friends (me);
first Grady Dorsett
and now it is Christmastime
So tarry, 'til I fly "home"
There once was a fellow named Jim
Who always kept himself slim and trim
But as he got older
He got big as a boulder
And sank to the bottom when he swimmed!
There once was a fellow named Jim
Who always kept himself slim and trim
But as he got older
He got big as a boulder
And sank to the bottom when he swimmed!
There once was a fellow named Jim
Who always kept himself slim and trim
But as he got older
He got big as a boulder
And sank to the bottom when he swimmed!
Rough Rider Jim Jack (Senryu)

ride a horse and poke its back
falls on dung and splash

Give Them To Him from Jim
Give my prayers that are all of them,
To my God who I always honor Him;
Always need;
Me does feed;
Brightens things when times are dim.

There once was a fellow named Jim
Who always kept himself slim and trim
But as he got older
He got big as a boulder
And sank to the bottom when he swimmed!
• "Knock knock," a familiar voice said
• I peep through the window and swing open the door
• My good friend Jim-Bob is seen standing there
• Feet glued to the floor
Jim was suave, sophisticated, two notches above debonair
his appreciative entourage band followed his lead;
bevy of giggling ladies followed him from town to town
trying to grab his saxophone
There once was a fellow named Jim
Who always kept himself slim and trim
But as he got older
He got big as a boulder
And sank to the bottom when he swimmed!

RIP Jim Baker
Here lies, old Jim Baker.
Drank like a fish, this dude was no Quaker.
Lighting a gas oven with no pilot light?
Jim was dispatched to heaven in a blazing, fiery flight!

Lively gentleman Jim was an ankle stomper
a snazzy dresser, an avid dance floor romper
all of the old ladies loved taking a whirling painful turn
He was the Casanova dancer in the Nursing Home of Pern
Teachers are supposed to be polishing gems.
But instead, are cracking the gloaming of innocents.
Judging children by their race, when all they want to do is play.
Jim Crow is cawing for souls once again.
garden gnome Jim loved the marigolds especially
And the sunflowers of course, and petunias, luckily
He tended the garden, every day, admiring each berry
Occasionally sneaking a radish, rose, or a strawberry.
his fingers could play a piano they are long and thin
but they like the conga drums, he plays with vim
they prance and dance over the head showing off their slim
He is the ultimate drummer, Chicago Music Man Jim.
His “words hit the highway like a battering ram”
And “burn like the metal on the edge of a knife”
So “cold and lonely in the deep dark night” I am
“Crying icicles instead of tears” for his life

A old doctor hailed from backwoods Kentucky
We all went to Doc Jim when we felt yucky
He gave us some pills,
That cured up our ills
Weren't we country folk exceedingly lucky?

The gregarious Mr. Jim Carrey
Crazy comic who makes merry
Seated on a jury first day trial did start
Smiled, crunched up his face and let out a loud fart
In the galaxy of my heart, Jim charts his path,
His spear flies like stars lighting the way.
He takes his time, never rushed,
With every move, the world feels his respect.
In love, he is the gravity that keeps me in place.
