Premium Member When I Was Ash

When I was ash...
I knew wind more intimately than breath.

I knew what it meant...
To scatter without sorrow.

That is all I remember.

Premium Member I Know She Dreams

She day Dreams as she puts
Her lipstick stick On.
Just a mild trial of flirtation
She laughs and her musical
Voice carriers on the scent of roses
I know so intimately
I know she dreams of me

Office Concerto

Hear the keyboard’s staccato concerto,
an unacknowledged music whose echo
is known intimately by dull, bored minds.
Offices, which shut out the light with blinds,
hum with rhythm as background to life’s show.

Path To Victory

Into the midst of your situation,
Testify to the sufficiency of God

Into the midst of your crisis,
Speak Truth untwisted

Worship Him
Respectfully,
Intimately,
Truly
Triumphant,
Elevating
No other

I Am Struck By the Beauty

Poetry of life
Is as elegant as forest
In both
The treasure, hidden within…

Like forest, her thirst
Opportune sign
In each furlong, the mystery
Intimately grip…

 Where is the beauty?
In such green lush or in such silken thigh
I am struck by the beauty
Nature or otherwise…

Glow of Autumn

We lounge together by the sea
In a bower -filled pasture on high,
With musings shared intimately
As a temperate breeze whiffs nearby,
sliding through words upon breath’s air
That enter our pores, a glow that trails
As hearts lay bare on one autumn day.

For PD: One Autumn Day

You

We rest together by the sea
In a bower filled meadow on high,
And he shares musings intimately
While a magical breeze teems nearby
sliding through words through breath’s air
That enters my songs ,a beat that glides
As hearts lay bare on moon’s prayer,
For silence knows what love implies.

Now and then

Peering back through misted glass.
You.
An intimately known stranger next to me.
Echo waves lap in and out of my mind...
Reality? Looped events pulsating.
Can't trust the cine film past.
Click. Thud. Tapdancing on my heart.
Staccato feelings.
Drop by drop I return to myself.

Life's Cosmic Journey

Time will change the seasons,
the endless earth and sea.
Time will conceptualize life,
on it's odyssey.

Deep in the Universal truths,
where we abound,
deep where we seek ourselves,
most intimately found,

accepting the cycle of life,
the day to the dust,
and all things of soul,
forever continuous.

I will immortalize you in pen and paper

In the minds of all those who dare

You will live forever in all things

Your soul will be naked and bare

They shall all know you intimately

As if they’ve been with you

They will feel your warmth, your hopes and despair

This world will see your hues

The Sea Guides

We lounge together by the sea
In a bower filled meadow on high,
And he shares musings intimately
While a magical breeze whiffs nearby,
sliding through words through breath’s air
That enters my pores, a flow that guides
As hearts lay bare on moon’s prayer;
For silence knows how love abides.

Iconic Test

put your fingers on the chest:
this is an Iconic Test-
you will intimately see
your Highlight Identity
flying from the Human Tree
like a Stork who”s inspiration
will restore an Old Migration
all the void will surely be
just a slightly blurred sea
and you”ll be at home so soon
and your head will be the Moon.

On Occasion

A beautiful time, the slightest breeze
We yearn to be more than lost
Your charm so delightful, alluring
Warm to my every thought
The beauty of life's song
Sings so sweet in our minds
On occasion our souls will play
Among the ruins within our hearts
Delighted in everyday life
Intimately peaceful with every breath

Premium Member Finding Myself

Me, by my self
standing
alone
searching self
powerfully.
I am
beside myself.
Aside from
myself there’s
no-one
looking
deep within
to know me
intimately.
Finally, I find
myself there
inside of self.
I be …soul, mind,
heart and spirit;
Manifested
poetry.
You really can’t see me
unless you read me.

Premium Member God Is Waiting For You 11 38pm 11062011

There is no waiting line
He will not finish your sentences
 You can pray anywhere
He listens intently
Lovingly to all that you say

He cares for you like no one else can
He has known you
Loved you intimately since before birth
Even better than you know yourself

Should you deny or forget about Him
He still waits for you

A Spire

I take for granted the company of those people,
The truth that reveals itself in the moments we share,
Familiar and sturdy as a hometown steeple,
Intimately connected like a careful prayer.

But we’re told to look up to the sky.
It’s what we’re meant to do.
The steeple thins and reaches high
To places we don’t have a clue.

Harp and Soul

Take me now, with you up in the atmosphere!
With your golden harp, compose
a lyric to make my heart weep.
Soft, serene, so sensitive,we!

Lovers whose souls bonded so.
Intimately~many decades ago.
Fragrant roses,encircled us and so..
Rising in love's atmosphere we
go.

Au Revoir

Au Revoir ma cheri amor
I feel you pulling away
and knew that the words
calling you back
are no longer mine to cry out

moments and memories
blurred visions of yesterday

that which I held as our forever
no longer part of my tomorrow

I watched you drift away
intimately knowing
that I was to take
a separate path

Empty Rooms

Aloneness may become an immense - empty room,
from which loneliness can come upon us – much to soon
on the heels of to much - involved aloneness !

This I have come to know, intimately – I must confess,
to touching the fringes of, from time to time,
as can be seen, coming out in my attempts at good rhyme.

Premium Member Damaged Goods

She and I were both very much in love, intimately,
but then I experienced one more horrible tragedy
that seriously and permanently damaged me emotionally.
Now I'm incapable of having a meaningful relationship with anybody.
I'm damaged goods now and I'm often very lonely,
but I can live with that, because what I can't live with anymore is tragedy.
