The screams and 
ranting
The shouting and 
banging

through the night
They tell the 
tale of a plight
of a mother 
trying to intill
Dignity in her 
child and still
show l.o.v.e

As various 
thoughts rage 
her brain

is her child 
alone
on the street 
gnawing at a bone
And being wrong

best
