as vessel realigns, manoeuvring

Self have I flung at blind squabble 
And home returned with fat trouble!
My forgiveness tradition bent;
The implacable one for rent…
	
We stop living when dead angry
The blood-thirsty for Red hungry 
“Pay J shall his mortuary bill
And corpse cross intervening hill!”

But what of Heaven’s Gate Saints cross?

without striving
in tranquil calm
enjoying the game
till the scorpion stings
then anguish binds
dragging us down
into darkness 
until we rebound
restoring equanimity

between delusion and illumination 
the impressions imbibed

Feelings of some sort
Truths; answers I seek. 
But to express my words fall short.

Tell me my love what meaning 
Do you see, if any?

Do I write more? How many?

Love is the reason I bled.
All for what; I did not think.
Pitch-dark petals don't bleed red
Just stains of black ink.

 Are we chosen from above,

could there be that much love.

 We search for our meaning,

 Is our choice in vain,

the decision to explain.

 Our hope is in the lord,

forgiving forever more.

 For someday he shall say,

my friend you can stay.

My brother sent a photo of
Our childhood home and, yes,
It brought me back to younger days
But what I must confess…

Is that, though I was happy there,
I’ve no wish to go back.
The intervening years have set me
On a different track.

It’s nice to reminisce but really
When we think of home,
We should be happy where we keep
Our toothbrush and our comb.

If all our time’s spent in the past
Where we did once belong,
Then something in our current life
Is definitely wrong....
