A dreamer
Wisely builds upon his dreams
When wisdom becomes
The instrument of reasoning!

Unwarranted Praise

It’s nothing I do
Being just an instrument
That Christ is using
Play a song for me
My heart longs to be set free
Held captive so long
I am trying to be strong
Is the instrument all wrong?
Instrument of Intent,
of Deceit,
of the many
"gods"
that give us
dreams-
Who are you,
traveler,
to
spread false
hope??
My
Fingers
Do a dance
Upon the steel;
Guitars velvet voice
Resonating;
Sings to my
Dancing
Soul.
sax-notes flirt... intoxicating!

'Amazeballs'
you are not simply the inapposite that breaks
you are the plague that destroys the rose
the captious instrument that causes loss
No finer instrument for heaven's orchestra than a soul in tune with God's melody!

Your simplest gestures
Tune me like an instrument
Only you can hear
As your voice plucks my heart's strings,
Resonating your feelings
Man: God's instrument
Double nature - body, soul
Seeking Harmony!

she is an instrument of discipline
epitome of grace
exuding feminine power
the hours it takes
to make this look effortless
cannot be fathomed
My guitar sings, swings, dances
Those strings do-see-do; circle
Left, right, then form a big square
Tensions are released.
Music dances off the page
Flowing through me
Through my instrument
The notes cut through the air
And sit in the minds
Of anyone who will listen
Thrill to the frenzy, the passion
slender bow jabs the air
fingers race along submissive neck
face dances to the love
of the precious instrument
When overwhelmed with the stains of sin
We are the instrument and the Lord is the bow
With his gentile hands he crafts his design
To play a melody so divine
The pen
is a sword
that slays
in skilled hands
it is a scalpel
that dissects
my own
however
is a blunt instrument
and it beats the truth out of me
harp
to the mouth at the mic
on one side
the awe-maker
on the other side
the awestruck
harp
to the ear at the air
invisibly gained
bleed the crowd
Horde of Each Chord for My Lord
What I had heard about a horde,
Of those who played each chord;
On instrument;
Much meant;
Always had done it for the Lord.

Music can be mellow
Ukuleles are used to make music
Some people like to sing along to music
Italy made the musical instrument violin
Calming music helps people go to sleep
jaw harp
listen to my voice
it is your voice that I breath through, though
your secrets are whispered but by my arouse
speak my thought
o sing me
all other musicians held an instrument
Karla's only instrument was her voice
would it be enough?
she knew it was when the audience went silent
and the guitarists stopped playing
Haiku 79
your fingers make
music from the instrument
that is me
This may be a senryu, given it's human rather than nature content. Are there any opinions on the matter?
playing on branches
wood wind is the instrument. . .
fall’s leaves brightly twirl
An oldie for the Bite Size Poem No49 Poetry Contest
Death has a dimension
Measureless and void
What instrument could fathom
All nullity?
Reason tries to grasp it
Sincerest faith denies it
How futile to approximate
That universal dread!
Man is an instrument,
In need of tuning,
That
Is expected to perform God's
Spiritual symphony
On
Materiality's plane!.
