Melancholy
Room’s messy.
Mind’s disorganized.
Emotions contained.
Thoughts emanating.
Art visualized.
Potential inhibited.
Poetry written.
Dreams unrealized....

inhibited
by the shackles of low esteem
she staggers

Military Spread Thin Again
Spread Thin Again

Military is stretched too far beyond a doubt,
Many who are sailors have started to shout;
Poorly distributed,
And being inhibited;
Making their each mission hard to carry out.

Irrationality Overshadowed
needless irrationally based volatile situations
overshadowed all rationality that remained
alive within the realm of reality that the
past self inhibited till one day
irrationality finally overtook the
space that was left uninhibited...

Premium Member Rub of the Green
In
day's
of yore,
Melissa
officinalis-
inhibited the hive from swarming

Note Lemon balm (L4/5) also known as bee balm was rubbed inside the hive to
keep the bees in the same hive and thus the winter stock of honey was safe for another
season....

Waiting In the Rain
With each of a feminine
Girlish swishing head
As one droll inhibited *
When not rainily diffused
Select gazing has confused
Worsen's waiting's grief

Up-swirls the one dear figure.
Sylph apparitions's!
So colours the emotions
As brighten a day's face-trait
Recognized alone of it
Gives this heart relief.

Repressed Memories
repressing violet memories
suppressed love of blue
formation of reactions
rationalisations
earth is revolving
around the sun now
are you absolutely certain
todays science
tomorrows ridicule
displaced reactions
inhibited intellectualisations
sun is sinking into
the womb of the
waiting barren sea
the pinky twisty tongue
taste of salt and tears...

What Is a Sonnet
confusing tensions
psychopathic maladjustments
forbidden love
in sequestrated caves

imminent war of thoughts
methodically organised
what is a sonnet
true discrimination of
shocking truths
mental equipoise
singing birds under the
carpet of a bleeding heart
pastures of inhibited love
meadows of unfilled longings
religion is philosophy
of action...

Four Stages of Knowledge
Children begin to read and write
learn to communicate with others
wonders and worlds revealed.

Adolescents hone those skills
insatiable hunger grows within
inhibited imagination relaxed.

Young adults open to thought
create new-found concepts to marvel
limitless knowledge spread before.

Aged and wise now understood
in a life magnificent and full
our learning never ends....

Questions Galore
QUESTIONS GALORE

Who asked you to suppress your dream?
When did you happily relish an ice-cream?

What inhibited you from flying high?
Why did you let yourself sink and sigh?

Where did you hide your beautiful smile?
Which chosen paths weren't worthwhile?

How can you let yourself to compromise?
Life is so short, didn't you realize?

Undo
Even though I may never thrive-

At least I will no longer be condemned.

Someday I will forget that I am altered.

Someday all the people who know I am different will have dissolved from my life.

Except maybe my family.

I will continue to become more inhibited.

Until I start missing that part of me.

Then one day that will stop.

And I can undo a tragedy that used to be mine....

Just Inhibitions
I learned to let your inhibitions teach me.

That when we push everyone away-

We slowly become statues of ourselves.

As we become encrusted in the anger that stills our being.

Certainly, we have reached milestones together.

As kindness captured us.

But I am passing this cold front that is taking you-

I can still feel the chill…

And I sometimes pretend you are not gone.

Just inhibited....

Premium Member Allura and Her Sentinel
One is inhibited
when to grasp for her
without care without pity,
a stark reminder
for those with intent
for behold a portrait of nature
when to gaze upon
the blushing Rose at home
amongst her guardian thorns
a rural delight
nurtured in the city
in grounds of remembrance
for there she sparkles,
as she fabricates the scented air
basks in the sunrise
shimmers in dawn’s breaking dew.

Premium Member Glamorous Giraffe
Glamorous giraffe was more fashionable than most
I was fortunate enough to be her derby host
I took her around and showed her off to others
She was embraced by children, fathers and grandmothers

Others tried to develop the kind of look she exhibited
Truly a fashion statement, but totally prissily inhibited.
Glamorous giraffe never let her guard down, not one time.
I enjoyed showing her off, this lovely guest of mine....

Ubiquitous Deathlike White
The harsh season of winter
has its grip upon the land.
Strong gusty winds are blowing,
exacerbating the cold.
Precipitation is snow.
Tons of solid crystals fall.
They lie on the hardened ground.
Lakes and streams are not flowing
Trees are devoid of their leaves.
The ice hangs like stalactites.
Green growth is inhibited.
No flowers found anywhere.
Barren lifeless surroundings.
Ubiquitous deathlike white.
Come in from out of the freeze....

Promises From a Cat
The promises you made to us are priceless.

Even if they were never spoken.

You promised to follow us on each of our journeys.

While we would grow up, you would stay small.

But that does not mean your love for us stayed idle.

Or that you would simply become a fixture.

You started off curious.

And eventually become less inhibited.

More than some compulsion for food.

You learned to cherish us.

Just as we cherished you from the start....

Rapid Rhyme
Rapid rhyme,
 who has the time
when steady and deliberate
 is more delicately exhibited.
Giving it a try
 but my fingers are denied
this rehearsed terse
 is unfamiliar verse
dancing in nerve endings
 poetic form I'm pretending
of exhibitional imposed prose
 reveling mysterious majestic flows,
painting a picture more vivid
 with words less inhibited.
Now I'm stuck
 questioning my luck
at rhyme that makes me squeamish
tried failure or success, this contest is fiendish....

Worry and Guilt
It is the worrying that is causing me to snap at others.

As if responding to a snide remark.

After trying to be inhibited for so long-

As if my inhibitions would ward off the thoughts I believe others are thinking.

As if a thought could turn into my fate.

But eventually, all secrets that seeth within.

Will turn into a whirlwind of confessions.

Confessions that confuse.

Maybe they knew nothing after all.

And the silence that was there all along-

Continues....
