In this quiet room
I will hear my mother's words
frayed from years of missing her

If We Are Heirs To the Sun

take your wings
and
grab hold
of the golden sun
thus
get all
of your inheritance
if
we
are heirs to the sun
that
we
possess all of it

Premium Member Dividing Up Our Inheritance

dividing up our inheritance
swiftly without seriousness
three without argument

our parents would be proud
zero confrontations
fine day to be a sibling

Premium Member RAVAGED

They ravaged me
All things I achieved
Became their inheritance
So when I woke up
The nightmare ended
I had nothing
Everything was stolen
Appropriated into their accounts

Sweet Inheritance

Sweet Inheritance

 He was going to live
 Forever,
Had honey with
His coffee
Every morning
But his allotted time
Was up
In the basement
30 litres of
Honey
Sadly his only son
Has diabetes.

Our piano with silence speaks
The rickety rocking chair squeaks
Where Mama sits and stares each day
Music memories stored away
Our loved inheritance remains
Melodies cycling through our brains.

Waiting For Rain

Identity,
Born from a kernel of inheritance
Planted deep within a furrow of pain
Growing in the light of new discovery
Reseeding itself
  —waiting for the rain

Sweet Death

Death O sweet death
What a darling friend
If you had never existed
Would I really be married
As all my inheritance
Would be mine never
May you live to end
But me never take
Coz we are friends.

Talents and Treasures

Do not be unfaithful with another man's treasures,
Or you will not be trusted with what truly belongs to you.
Do not be angry about another man's inheritance;
Invest your talents and your treasures will increase, too.

Premium Member MOTHER EARTH

May we all be blessed to understand

When we walk among her trees, her mountains, her rivers, her flowers
It is only through our arrogance
that we think of Mother Earth as a resource
instead of our inheritance

From the Past Blood

River carries floating things
                                         through the muddy flood
                                     Generation bears inheritance
                                             from the past blood

Refrain of Pain

I
In your hour of need, you hurt when those whom you have helped, now go deathly still

II
Remember the psalms: "God is my portion;" and if God is not, you are on death row getting news, you just inherited 3 million dollars.

Zazen

So I have caused no inheritance
I am suffering
As wisdom requests?
I am without a changed mind.
Having a buddhahood in a time
Is another rising mourning
Of another's regrets
To correct the objective

Zazen is popular excuse

Abundant

Look at your abundance,
Lying in the distance,
Waiting for its chance,
To enter your existence.
Help evolve your experience,
Use the inheritance,
Life is abundance,
A fun dance,
When you believe the chance,
It's already in your hands.

An inheritance to my soul

An inherited jewellery box sits on the vanity-
My parent's love embedded in each stone.
It is a meal to carry away from home.
When sky turns dark, with no where to go
In problems engulfed is my soul;helps-
vanity of loved meal to sky's soul.

You and I share an inheritance vast as space particular as a raindrop, distant from our sight immediate to our hearts folded in the sunrise scattered in the dusk eternally kept for us in the mind of God.

purple mountains majesties

There Is No Barrier To God

God has
given us
possession of
the key
to have
total access
and stay
connected
with His
full glory
and the same
sweet faith is
the bread
of heaven
this is
our true
inheritance
surely because
there is
no time,
barrier or
distance to
the lord

Murderer Lacking a Name

Bloody is on my hands
I simply can't wash it off

I ravaged the inheritance of my seeds
And gave them turmoil as a will

Late at night I crept out in the world
Giving mischief for sleep

Into the houses laced with quiet
Breaking contradictions of a family

Magnificent Inheritance

Creation sparks into existence
every element of our cosmos

Genesis’ pattern of expansion
Life’s innate self perpetuation

We inherit upon conception
our common stardust ancestry

Practice love and tolerance towards all
God’s children have no inequities
