Past Mist
She holds her memories
the most        infrequent
paltry mists        of past
liaisons               stormy
strife from   deep within

collanades
   of clouds
    black
   broken
   reeds,
exhausted
wells,
       empty
        cisterns,
forbidden
fearful
failed
       forgetful
          undone-
unheard-
     infrequent
     inviolable
reminescent-
now
departed...

The Lips of My Angel
Upon her lips
a whisper
Not audible
Known only by the
slightest twitch of muscle
An expression of her passion
returning from another place
An infrequent visitor
Extraordinary excitement
Prospects growing
A planned return
When upon her lips
again, a whisper...

As infrequent a visitor
hayrides through haunted woods are
to the segregate’s prison of elm and oak

is the sliver of Ray-ban hope
I used to count on
for steady supplies of vegetation

on my salad plate,
overgrown now with yellow seed
blossoming dollops of strawberry preservative....

Backward Drawkcab
My mind is infrequent
Not eloquent... I guess.
Your mind is a bottle
Amused at the thrill of what?
Smoke clouds unused..
Problems askewed.
Deep wrenching can't stand me's
And nothing to lose.
It's fire?
It's yours?
I try to unbox?
I'm amused
In a sense of collapse.
You're standing with a new shot. It's a bone...
Severed.
Unusually brittle.
A stone skipped on water.
Exciting, but belittled
Ready, 3...2..1
A secret.. treasured....

Watching For Spots - a Day On a Wildfire
An easy, steady wind
Picks up and changes direction.
Thick smoke engulfs the line while
Ash, dust, and grit swarms
Eyes, nose and mouth.
Snot runs unabated.
One eye tightly closed,
The other a squinting sliver.
Throat burning.
The last Nalgene half-full
Of stale, tepid water.
Infrequent, twenty degree wind
shifts
Bring a momentary reprieve.
Each gulp of fresh air seems
Like a small miracle.
What time is it?
1045
It's going to be a long day....

Crowded Bus's
Early morning rush,
pile's of people piling on
sardine like,jostling
"excuse me" being morning phrase
newspaper's,MP3 player's
magazine's and favorite book's
some smile's,some blank look's
must not of had cup of java yet
small talk infrequent
most want to be left alone
must of had a bad night last night
maybe they don't look forward to today

Everyday's a good day
some are just better

I like public transportation
my favorite indoor sport............
