I kissed my lips,
And drank the juice of silence.

And drank the juice of metamorphosis.
Why two tasted like same?
when are metaphors
not applicable as proof
that they're existent
when a person dies
but remains here quite alive
mute indifference
by indifference crass and curt
we cannot deny that we were hurt
in witness mode we shrugged and smiled
as bliss beats continued to spurt
betrayed, discarded, abandoned
indifference is the ultimate pain
yet did we not build up expectation
and now sorrow, wearing this chain

Your cold indifference
Keeps me at arm’s length
Perhaps the warm rays of my love
Will melt your icy heart
The untended plant
withers away, leaf by leaf ~
a time of indifference.
Why do we falter,
poised at the divine altar,
blaming it on gravity?
