Incubus

Mind racing,
quiet, quiet.

Sleep now,
quiet, quiet.

Rest child,
quiet, quiet.

Gentle hand,
shhh, shhh.

I'm here.
shhh, shhh,

Reassuring,
Sigh.

With incubus and succubus entwined
Coitus tactic - keep up the spellbind!
The product of deep slumber - once matured,
Zombie, encumbered on us! Rest assured.

Love Croft

Flaws and faults blame each other.
Demonized like Succubus-Incubus.
Philautia, amour propre cursed lover.
Garden fountains, tears and mucus.
Morally peaceful dignity of lover.
Love is aloof and leaves the circus.

Unicorn ****

PD, Please don’t be offended by my gift
An Incubus told me you needed it
For nights when you’re alone and bored:
A gigantic, over-sized, unicorn horn!

Incubus

My incubus, dark visitor, draining my love by night, spurning the day; Yours is the shadow time when hypnotic kisses declare love and make promises that dissolve with approaching dawn. My lover, my vampire, shed night's mantle and share with me the day. Face the sun if you dare.
Form: Verse

Incubus

I cast you out
seduction of darkness
my heart shall remain mine.
My soul you shall not oppress.
In my beauty I shall shine.

You were born from darkness
but there purity in you,
I like to hope the likeliness
that your light would shine through.

Your heart is my anchor
your love is my sin.
My battle within.

Not An Incubus

while you
sleep i'm not
a guardian angel

just watching
you breathe
as your

chest takes
in and then
lets out

the poetry
you give
me but

you're not
remming
but i am

always
remembering
you in my dreams

i need
nothing
to say as

i lay my
head on your
heart and all i need

is to
hear it
beating

The Shadow Knows

Sparring with demons, and dragons and deadheads
It bobs and weaves like a drunken sailor.
Omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient
I'm quite attached to it - joined at the psyche.

Image of an incubus twirling as I do.
Patron Saint of agony, I curse it
And relegate it to a 2nd-class personage.
Out, damn spot, out - and take the blood with you.

A Small Torrent of Moonlight

A small torrent of moonlight breaches the space between The window and curtain, giving light to nothing less Than herself who lives viciously. She's scared, Not by any spirits, but by demons, an incubus. Forced to never sleep in fear of dreams, and Never not tire, as an exhaustion falls over you. Always falling over, like the splash of rain you've been wanting

Her Incubus of Control

These times of cringing discomfort contort my patience and test my love.
I descend and ascend upon baring the tears of bitterness.
The blackening innocence protrude rough edges of anxiety to which twinge and turn in the face of questions.
Pain like panic screams and cries around this frustration. Anxiety burns through this person consuming them with struggling hopelessness.

Child Incubus

Child Incubus

Wild baby forms in the womb
He has no name or original sin to speak of
Incubation time of the creature will be determined
Doctors treat all unborn humans like tumors
They must be extracted as such
Mother is sedated, removed from the action
C-section, clamp, close and done
Doctor is god at this moment
Mom is an unholy spectator on creation
Screaming, “What is it doctor?!”
It’s an incubus

Succubus

Three nights in a row, exhausted, no sleep
Catatonic state, inner demons shall creep

Dose (Was I asleep?) jerk violently awake
Heavy pressure on chest, the weight of heartbreak

Incubus

Incubus

His icy fingers perform a slow staccato on my tense limbs
Enveloped by a deathly chill
Still I lye on the table in this lair
Strapped down
Locked in

Putrid and stale, breath deep
Inhaling my fear with desire
Hearing his feet dragging beside me
Can’t fight him
Won’t win

Of the capture I have no recollection
No fight left in me for how to escape
The monster has hunted victoriously
He has his prey
He will sin

In the onset of night comes a new tribulation
Heart’s door left unlocked, incubus gestation
Horrid chimeras conceived, looting love’s light
Fleeting hope wanes away another lost crusade

Hearts door left unlocked, incubus gestation

Images of Your Love

Your fingertips across my skin,
Is a gift I didn’t think could be real,
The warmth of your embrace
Warms me up,
Melts my frostbitten spirit,
Whenever I’m alone with you,
You make me feel like I am free again,
You make me feel like I’m clean again,
Be my friend, hold me
Wrap me up, unfold me
I am small, and needy
Warm me up, and breathe me.

Motes

Their forms have leaked into my mind;
women who have become
interchangeable body parts
in a chemical reaction I have with myself.

A female once undressed with a smile
seeps through closed lids,
another woman, once passed on a street
lived for years as a reoccurring fantasy;
she suckles an incubus,
born from a proliferant lust.

It returns to me now;
speaks as an imago and apprehension.

"Don’t worry father,
my crippled condition
can't be seen
behind your open eyes".

Nightmares - a Tri-Fall

Nightmares - A Tri-Fall

From nightmares when sleeping
we waken:
alarmed by our nightmare dreams.
With thoughts we were keeping,
forsaken,
by sounds of our wakening screams!

When incubus appear
in our dream,
and sheer terror frightens our soul,
we in panic and fear
shout or scream,
as we lose emotive control!

Dreams are but delusion:
never real.
Simply illusive fantasy!
But in sleep’s confusion,
we oft feel,
they’re a part of reality!

Incubus

A raw communion wafer in my hand
A hard wind melting the castles of sand

There is an anger roaring through us
A surf thrashing on the rocky shore
An inebriated old incubus
Its wist binds our Samson to the floor
It butters the children dry bread
Broke hole in my mother's shoes
Turn blue, silky skies to lead
And print morning and evening news
I saw the pale infection
Coiled like a whip on a Great House floor
The master of the plantation
The tears of children on a foreign shore.
