Wind over tall grass~
hoofbeats echo the old paths
no map can contain.
Warriors ride in memory,
carrying the plains’ long breath.
To take out of life without giving in return,
is to die without accomplishment.
For what we have in life,
can not be taken in death.
But what we give of our self's,
can be left in memory.
so much to see
on the statue
of liberty
from france it came
such a long way
in memory
it stands
for freedom and liberty
crown on her head
behold
the beautiful
lady
made
of
stone.
