When she saw the economy brought
naught but poverty; said Ms Charlotte,
"Let us revitalize;
I can still improvise
a harlot for each empty car lot."
Like a song we all like to improvise as we all go along.
Like a stageplay we like to have reasons to pretend and play.
Like a semblance we like to be with whom bring us balance.
At rehearsal they adorn frilly ballerina tutus
Orchestra changes musical tempo; smiling Ziegfield girls, stall
Improvise with nuance of ballet and whimsical poses

<To overcome an obstacle is hard.
To improvise is even harder.
The deeper you search
and the more tears you shed.
Is when you'll find the fighter within.
Speculation and Simulation
Sometimes we may make mere speculation;
What we really should do is use simulation,
And then realize,
We did improvise,
And will then be secure and have protection.

Impressionable immature imps imprint, improve, and improvise
Incorporating incredible indefatigable independence.
Infusing informed influential infallible infestation
Intensifying interception intermingling intimacy
can’t win improvise
crocodile tears woeful cries
hypocrites disguise
endless feigning soul destroyed
truth turns to ash neath stone eyes

The mirror softly spoke, lips parted wide
With a gleam in its eye and words unconfined:
"Improvise, for life’s script is predefined.
Familiar faces may cross your path
But don’t let those gentle smiles lead you astray."
To adjudge, 'tis having promise from a pout-
inviting what for two shall improvise
whence having been this near, I can without,
not kiss you more without due compromise,
though tempting does it offer much reprise.

DANCE WITH ME
Hey! come on,
get down, groove
to the beat.
Fun with free style,
express yourself
and improvise.
Let joy, bliss show.
Take my hand, lead me…
swing to rock and roll,
cha-cha, bachata
to Latin tempo,
slow dance to ballad.
Frost Limerick
Frost creates windows of cool frozen art,
Inspires my Frost limerick to start.
Heating melted the Frost,
My Frost painting is lost,
Improvise a Frost poem from the heart.

WORDS
unbridled
so beguiling
absorbed
as thoughts
to inspire
for guidance
to take flight
that disrupts
& rising
to the surface

retrospective
imagined
pleasure
so
infectious
&
intriguingly
interpretated
improvise an
iteration
to contemplate

Image
Who am I
if not this scene
I’ve seasoned
with my sweat?
Repeating lines
to improvise—
an image
to impress.
My heart’s a sound
that’s underground
but never skips
a beat.
The life I live
is rhyme and riff
but dances with—
out me.

There is something about baking that means a lot to me
It is another whole realm of creativity
I have my usual recipes, but I like to try more
Sometimes I improvise, and discover what it’s for
I love to bake at Christmas and make people a variety of things
Something about baking, as I create my heart sings!

This jive
You call
Jazz, well, my
Mama use to say,
It sounds more
Like pots
And pans
Just ripping and
Damn running down
These streets
Boy, you better
Learn how to read
This music and tell
People somethin’ ‘bout us colored folks
Cleo, dat Banjo and dem bongo drums
Come straight out of mother Africa
We like to improvise and harmonize that
Funky off rhythm beat
Rocks upon boulders ranging in size
Manually placed to ostracise-
Cultured people whom a free,
Such a shame, a great pity.
About the wall, the cold obstruction
Causing such and much destruction,
Crass creation of corruption,
Undeserving of production.
Who are they to improvise-
Our creators' grand devise?
Woods and people they've outgrown;
Paradoxically hurting their own.
I was thinking
thoughts of course enforce thoughts.
and thoughts reverse or worse... coerce thoughts,
and thoughts match and then dispatch thoughts,
and thoughts discern and turn thoughts,
and thoughts improvise and sensationalize thoughts,
and thoughts enhance, advance, and romance thoughts,
and thoughts return, and adjourn thoughts
and thoughts copy thoughts,
What do you think?
We don’t dare
To mention it
Or to others, it purvey
We do not try
To clarify
And thus, our fears allay
Which leaves us with
Unproven myth
That just, gets in our way
We should not bide
In our pride
But ask, what’s gone astray
With friends our ties
We improvise
And some, just go their way
But, with family share
And our souls bare
So need not, from them stray
BOEMS BY JA 212
Some folks tend to awfulize
Others prefer to dramatize,
There are those who fantasize
Many people will improvise.
I know a few who tantalize
Even resort to marginalize
Those who are short in size,
Which will often destabilize
Because they may internalize,
Which is not always wise!
Three times a week, I advise,
It’s a good thing to exercise!

Nocturnal jazz played on
your body, improvising,
light touches and tastings;
blue moans, soft and
seductive with muted
tones of desire.
Swing rhythm unites two;
blowing red passions,
hot be-bop dances, and
free form movements
that improvise fantasies
with their own beats.
Midnight songs of
ardor released in the
oncoming dawn;
the concert is over
and the players
now sleep, together.
The start or St.Art?.
but where?
on the corner by the neon sign?
under the clock at Waterloo when it's
striking nine?
the third eye is my guess
but I improvise and
devise ways to bolt
lightning to the floor
and
always
always want to do more.
easily distracted
I dismantle tall building
abseil from mountains
and fire on four cylinders,
the Saint paints in the
missing figurines as the
menagerie dreams on.
What they did to tamir rice Cold as ice I'll give some advice Think twice Think thrice An innocent paid the price Which led to his demise This is a matter of black lives Our final goodbyes We look to the sky As we wipe our eyes A burning rage on the inside So then we devise And collect our allies To symbolise To vocalise Our need for you to apologise And recognise Your many lies You televise And improvise A way to criminalise Black lives
