Implying Nature's got it wrong
And that they were right all along.
So these great powers must impress
And claim they can cure the mess.
For they will play the salesman game

Wrapping mountains in snow-white shawls
Enhancing streams with drizzly charms
Ornamenting rocks with soft white tops
Draping valleys with frills of delicate fogs
Aiding awaiting lake with new aquatic stock
Lifting spirits to prepare for Christmas Rock...

with long suffering forbearance,
implying once again I must have
gotten up on the wrong side of my head
as all that comes out of my mouth
is sound without content
rhyme without reason
as clearly my left brain 
hasn't had the coffee
it needs
to kick the right one
onto submission.

At first glance it may  be accidental
Testing  it at the delicatessen

Trying again in  the  frozen section

A glaring inequality.
When certain winners spoke too long,
The band began to play a song…

Right NOW you have to disengage.
You do not rate a minute more,
So get a move on, out the door.

The A-list stars, though, got to speak
And might have gone on for a week,
Which proves that we should be aware

If Monday’s when the week begins
And Sunday’s when it ends,
Then how come on the calendar
That logic it suspends?

For Sundays show up on the left
And Saturdays the right,
Implying that week goes
Sunday morn to Saturnight.

Since many people work 5 days,
With weekends times of rest,
The Monday start is one that is
Most commonly expressed.

Yet we accept the way things stand
And honor the mystique
For, calendar or not, tomorrow

My sandwich came on toasted rye;
The toast was overdone.
Without much thought, I sent it back
To get a different one.

My husband said had it been his,
He surely would have kept it,
Implying that it was
My obligation to accept it.

That I like my toast real light,

Jesus said the meek are blessed

submission untamed or identified
God-willed rule denied incomplete

where are we on meekness scales
God not implying timid and weak
but humble compliant and broken
eternal peace He promised the meek
