Family

Friends and relatives; those close in heart Always there when you need them, or not Many you see, just at holidays and such Implying there is love, though you’re apart Letting you feel the closeness ones can share Yet, if never meeting, knowing that they still care Family is more than just blood and name It is those we call our friends and keep close by Regardless of whether we even have met them

So true. It is so easy for some of us to take for granted our family ties. We are lucky, so lucky, if we have a family to lean on, or to celebrate with, whatever the circumstance. A good reminder! We are also fortunate if we have friends that are like family. Hope you have a bounty of both! Fondly, Carrie

A wonderful acrostic. The bond of family holds strong and speaks of unconditional love. I agree with your every word. Love, Shar
