Denying

Denying
“When I deny,
All I feel is freight,
And I need some might,
Without it,
I might think to cry.
And all the crying
Lead to thoughts of dying.
Denying anything short of misapplying,
Painkillers seem like I’m retrying,
When all I’m doing is implying
And denying.”
