Wishfully Believing
Wish you could understand what I’m subtly implying,
Wish you could know what I’m secretly desiring.
Wishfully thinking alone isn’t helping,
Wishfully dreaming changes nothing.
Wishing you knew from the beginning,
Wishing you knew by now it’s you I want to be winning.
Wishfully hoping you’d feel the same,
Wishfully holding on to you in this unrequited game.
Wish you would come over to my side of this line,
Wish you would reciprocate this feeling of mine.
