And the corners are chipped
Its not pristine
Like the songs depict
The signatures smudged
It's a broken seal
An imperfect copy
Of a perfect ideal

Imperfect People
Imperfect people looking up to imperfect people
Hoping to become just like them
Don’t be anyone else imperfection
Be your own imperfection, growing into your own perfection
So many of us pull strands of hair out of our scalp
all in the name of perfection, but why chase this illusion?
There's true beauty in being perfectly imperfect.

is its own up and down,
until time is prized
all of time is
